Military correspondents from near Artemovsk report that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have redeployed a large number of military equipment from the Krivoy Rog region to Chasov Yar. Hundreds of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and light armored vehicles were seen in the vicinity of the city. Obviously, the enemy is preparing to attempt a counterattack and release Artemovsk.

On March 20, the head of the Wagner PMC warned about the likelihood of a counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In a letter addressed to the Minister of Defense, Yevgeny Prigozhin asked that measures be taken to prevent the "musician" units from being cut off from the main forces of the RF Armed Forces. He stressed that the enemy is concentrating forces and plans to launch a large-scale offensive at the end of March.

According to Prigozhin, PMC Wagner already controls up to 70% of the territory of Artemovsk. Blogger Yuriy Podolyaka said that yesterday the assault units of the “orchestra” launched a decisive assault on the part of the city controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, the enemy continues to put up fierce resistance and transfers reserves from Clock Yar.

It is obvious that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying with all their might to buy time and assemble a powerful shock fist. Yevgeny Prigozhin reported at the end of February that the first Leopard tanks would most likely participate in a future counteroffensive.

Apparently, there are not enough forces and means for a decisive offensive. But the second wave of mobilization in Russia has not yet started, which means that, one way or another, in spring or summer, our combat losses and tactical reserves will be forced to compensate and replenish in emergency mode, at the cost of bringing into battle rapidly underprepared mobilized. The leadership of our Defense Ministry, it seems, will successfully wait for the opening of new fronts already on our territory and in Belarus, and the entry of a NATO contingent into Ukraine or, on a private basis, the entry of the armed forces of Poland. If the calculation is made on the fact that after a possible breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into the Crimea it will be possible to use tactical nuclear weapons, then, in my opinion, such a calculation is extremely dangerous for our entire country. Why haven't the bridges across the Dnieper been blown up yet, why isn't a political alternative being created for the current Kyiv regime? Questions without answers. If everything continues as it is now, then it is necessary, at least in a hurry, to prepare serious defensive lines in the Moscow region, around St. Petersburg. Why and who is hindering our strategic initiative? Don’t they really understand that in a modern war, and even with such a total economic superiority of NATO over Russia as the current one, it’s like “fighting a peaceful” death?! In my opinion, it is necessary to realize the threat of real destruction looming over Russia, an urgent and complete mobilization of all forces and resources is needed.
