Polish saboteur killed in Belarus
The special services of Belarus liquidated a saboteur in Grodno, who was thrown into the country from the territory of Poland. This is reported by the Belarusian media. According to them, the saboteur turned out to be a citizen with a fake Russian passport.
According to the Belarusian media, the saboteur had documents in the name of a citizen of the Russian Federation Aleksey Nikolaevich Lomakin. During the arrest, he actively resisted. In particular, it is alleged that Lomakin fired back at the Belarusian security forces from a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and also used F-1 grenades.
According to the security forces, the purpose of the saboteur was to commit terrorist acts on the territory of Belarus. However, the terrorist could not carry out his plan. During a shootout with representatives of the security services, he was injured and died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance.
The footage published by Belarusian television clearly shows the moment of the explosion in the apartment, which shattered the windows.
According to the Belarusian media, during a search in the apartment where the saboteur lived, the security forces found 5 kg of explosives.
According to local media, employees of the State Security Committee of Belarus received operational information about the saboteur's drop and immediately began to take measures to neutralize him.
