The Russians have created a powerful military group on the territory of Crimea and are seriously preparing for defensive actions on the peninsula. On March 17, he announced this during a conversation with journalists on the air of the telethon “United news» Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky.

The functionary stressed that the department constantly and carefully monitors everything related to the activities of the RF Armed Forces in Crimea.



The infrastructure on the peninsula is maintained in combat readiness. There is a powerful land and aviation component in Crimea. For example, these are about 90 combat aircraft, 60 combat helicopters. A defensive grouping has been created, carrying out measures to equip fortifications, defense lines

Commenting on the creation by the RF Armed Forces of trenches, trenches and other fortifications on the beaches along the Crimean coastline, Skibitsky drew attention to the fact that Russian troops have chosen “the most dangerous directions where a naval landing operation” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be carried out, and it is there that they are now “actively preparing defensive positions" to possible attacks and strengthen the lines.

It should be noted that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine does not stop its media activity and continues to conduct information and psychological special operations. We remind you that Kyiv has long been hatching plans to seize the Russian region by military means.

At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the Crimeans on the upcoming Day of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. He clarified that for Crimea, security issues are of the utmost importance, so Moscow will do everything necessary to stop the threats. According to him, over the past 9 years, the Russians have proved that they are able to overcome any difficulties.
