Russian units are trying to dislodge the enemy from the dominating heights in the Kremennaya area.

The units of the Russian army are trying to knock out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the dominating heights in the Kremennaya area in the LPR. This was told by Russian military journalist Yevgeny Poddubny. According to him, the offensive of the Russian troops on this section of the line of contact is of a local nature.

The military commander of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company expressed his thoughts on the fighting in the Kremennaya area on the air of Solovyov Live. According to Yevgeny Poddubny, the offensive actions of the Russian troops in this area are aimed at improving positions, in order to make it easier to be at the forefront, to conduct active defense.



At the same time, as Poddubny noted, it is too early to talk about serious breakthroughs. According to him, the Ukrainian army on the eve made an attempt to organize the same tactical counter-offensive, but got hit in the teeth.

According to the military correspondent, in the battles of local significance in the Kremennaya area, the Ukrainian army suffers very sensitive losses. True, they cannot be compared with those carried by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Artyomovsk direction.
