The Armed Forces of Ukraine risk being left without half of the recruits. The failure of the autumn draft campaign was recognized by the military commissar of Kiev, Colonel Sergei Klyavlin.
Kiev is the record holder for the number of draft dodgers. In the "well-fed" Ukrainian capital, the appearance of conscripts in the military registration and enlistment offices is only 8% of the total number of citizens who should be called up for military service. The province gives only a few better indicators - due to it the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to equip 39,5% of the recruits.
The Kiev military commissar himself admits: the main reason for the mass evasion of draft is the negative attitude of young people to military service. In addition, the colonel speaks of a decrease in patriotic sentiments in Ukrainian society.
Obviously, the "independent" youth is slowly beginning to see clearly. With the “bad” Viktor Yanukovych, the call was canceled altogether, and now the Ukrainian guys face a dull prospect of serving in a poor and hungry army, and even with a risk to their lives. After all, you can die in the APU not only in battle.
Recently, a warrant officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a drunken murder and dismemberment of a colleague 15 years ago, and most recently, the deputy battalion commander brutally beat a subordinate sergeant. Naturally, nobody wants to serve in such an army.

How Ukraine has gathered to serve with such a zeal for youth, if we recall the words of MP Igor Mosiychuk, to capture Russia, is not very clear. Is it possible that Poroshenko, Turchinov and other powerful people themselves will go to the contract?
