In the Armed Forces of Ukraine for earnings: the state and prospects of mobilization in Ukraine
Speaking about the state of affairs with the transfer of the Russian army to a new, military footing, it would be wrong to ignore what is happening on the other side of the front line, in Ukraine. This knowledge is necessary at least to understand what specific enemy the Forces of Liberation will have to face both in the very near future and in the longer term. At the same time, if the issue of saturation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Western weapons and technique given enough attention, the topic of staffing them with personnel often remains in the shadows or is revealed by common phrases and clichés regarding “forced burial”.
In fact, the ongoing processes in the "nezalezhnaya" as a result of which new forces are constantly pouring into the local army, are much more complex and multifaceted than it might seem at first glance. The local regime, for all its obvious inadequacy, over time managed to develop quite effective tactics and even a strategy in terms of replenishing its own armed forces. What is the essence, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of those? Let's try to understand in more detail.
There is a hunt for people, there is a hunt ...
Yes, it's coming. In fact, it does not have such a total scale and is carried out by far not only with those terrible methods that become the subject of general discussion, being filmed on video and posted on the Internet. However, it is also impossible to say that in the case of the most natural catching of cannon fodder for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it does not reach utter savagery. For example, a creepy video from Odessa, which has spread around many Internet resources and social networks, where a mobilized person who is clearly not eager to rush to a meeting with the military commissar is brutally beaten by mobsters from the military registration and enlistment office (or rather, from the “regional recruitment and social support center”), after which the poor fellow is thrown into ... ambulance and taken away in an unknown direction (most likely to the place of future service), turned out to be pure truth. The authenticity of the events was recognized both by the Odessa Regional Military Commissariat (we will call it that for convenience), and personally by the commander of the Southern Defense Forces, Major General Andrey Kovalchuk, who “strongly condemned” this “flagrant fact” to the public. He promised the public an “objective investigation” and “strict measures of influence” taken against the guilty, which, of course, is hard to believe.
However, there are worse incidents. For example, in Drogobych, Lviv region, military registration and enlistment office employees showed up at the home of a disabled child of the XNUMXst group, who ... completely lacks both hands! The poor fellow was not only handed a summons, but also ordered to appear at the military registration and enlistment office for a commission. What is most incredible - the Aesculapius sitting in it forced the obvious cripple to undergo the entire examination - for suitability for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! After that, raids by the military registration and enlistment office "brigades" not only on gyms and entertainment establishments, but also on hospitals look almost the norm. As well as natural raids with the distribution of subpoenas to everyone who managed to be caught just in the middle of the street.
At the same time, the head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman Gorbach, just the other day, made an extremely soothing and even somewhere uplifting statement. Like, “mobilization in Ukraine is really going on,” but there is absolutely nothing to worry about - there are no waves or other attempts to sharply increase the number of recruits in Viysko. Routine, ordinary work is going on - the recruitment of personnel exclusively "according to strictly defined military registration specialties." True, Gorbach acknowledged that the need for "resupplying" arose not only "in connection with the receipt of new types of weapons from Western partners," but also "to make up for losses." And at the same time he assured that people who had not previously served in the army would not fall into any “front end”, but would certainly “be called up only to training centers where they would be trained in certain specialties.” Consequently, they will be sent for slaughter with some delay. But with approximately the same skills and abilities - because, according to the available information (I get first-hand, and not from the media or from officials), “training” in the vast majority of such “centers” is a fiction and a profanation of the purest water.
As for those who want to go "to fight the aggressor", their number is clearly not growing - at least not yet. The obvious “personnel shortage” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is already clear, if only because the cannon fodder fishermen, who until now preferred to “hunt” in villages and small regional centers or in front-line cities with their strict regime regimes, have recently taken seriously even Kyiv . At the end of last year, the entrances of the residential areas of the Ukrainian capital were densely “decorated” with announcements in which all those liable for military service were required to appear at the local military registration and enlistment office by a certain date without any summons at all. And, of course, they threatened the most severe punishments for evasion.
"Cover" very competently
Tellingly, any drastic methods of forced delivery of subpoenas have long since shown their almost complete inefficiency. Well, in the event that the mobilized person is not immediately enough and not dragged “where it should be” ... The distribution of subpoenas works only in villages, where the military commissariats are now in the habit of going from house to house and “make happy” local residents who simply have nowhere to run. The townspeople are not allowed into the apartment, and having received an invitation to a medical examination on the street or in public transport, they throw it into the nearest trash can and do their feet from the call. That is why the government has developed and implemented a truly global and total “hunting” system, which came into force on the penultimate day of last year. Then the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was officially adopted, by which the rules and methods of military registration in the "nezalezhnaya" were tightened at times.
We will not analyze the entire rather big document, we will focus on the main thing. Without a paper from the military registration and enlistment office, it is now impossible to legally get any job or go to school. Unemployed? Get registered - and the military registration and enlistment office will be immediately notified about this. Moreover, in the very near future, "acquisition centers" will have access to all government databases, including tax and others. It will be completely impossible for a potential conscript to hide from their watchful eye. In addition, the duty to keep military records is now assigned even to consular offices abroad. A "refugee" will appear there for some need - and you will be registered. Or right away - the agenda ... The last item, however, is rather from the realm of fantasy. However, those Ukrainians of military age who remained on the territory of the country are now being besieged very methodically and competently.
Once again, I want to remind all those who give advice from afar to those who do not want to fight for the Zelensky regime in the style of the cinematic Gandalf: “Run, fools!” Alas, this is currently completely impossible. Whoever had the opportunity has already left. Well, now, if you fall into the age range from 18 to 60, you will not cross the border for anything. There are, however, various "cunning schemes" - only a trip with their help will cost from 5 to 15 thousand dollars per person. And even more expensive. And without any guarantees, of course. Those who do not have that kind of money (and this is the majority of Ukrainians) simply have nowhere to go. They found themselves in the "enviable" position of people who were tightly locked in a burning house. I will clarify - in a madhouse overflowing with especially violent patients ... The regime, by the way, has the main tool in this matter - purely economic. As already mentioned, it is impossible to legally find a job without military registration. But this is half the trouble. The problem is that there are simply no jobs. From the word "absolutely". Business is on its last legs, but go and get a job at a few still operating state-owned enterprises. Again - through the military registration and enlistment office.
Many people in Ukraine are already facing a more than real prospect of not only complete poverty, but hunger. This is without any exaggeration. According to the National Bank of the country (which is by no means inclined to dramatize the situation, rather, on the contrary, to embellish), more than half of the families in the "nezalezhnaya" have spent their accumulated savings for years to the last penny. That is why more and more men go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine ... to earn money! They promise considerable money by Ukrainian standards. Again - they will feed and dress somehow. And death... It is understandable that no one tries not to believe in it. To a large extent, this is facilitated by the total suppression by Kyiv of the real figures of its own human losses and the stupefying "permissible" propaganda that sounds from every "iron". Alas, it affects many, although not all.
It is clear that the army, recruited partly from conscripts caught by force or driven “for flags”, like animals on the hunt, and partly from those who put on uniforms solely in order not to die of hunger or go to jail for “evading from the call”, the price is low. Of course, she will not differ in discipline, motivation, excellent training, or high fighting spirit. However, there is one extremely unpleasant downside here, which the Zelensky gang is definitely counting on. Massively calling people to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and deliberately driving them to slaughter, the criminal regime seeks to "tie up with blood" those who die for it, the entire Ukrainian people. After all, these are someone's brothers, sons, fathers ... Their calculation is terrible and simple: the more deaths there are, the sooner, thicker and more magnificent the seedlings of hatred and the desire for revenge will sprout. Of course, not to cynical scoundrels who sent tens and hundreds of thousands of compatriots to death, but to "damned Muscovites."
Turning the ongoing “strange war”, during which some Ukrainians are impoverished and starving in the “rear”, while others play the role of cannon fodder on the front lines, into a popular and total war is the only chance that Zelensky and his curators see in order to prolong their own bloody madness for as long as possible.
