German Rheinmetall announced plans to get rich on the Ukrainian conflict

4

Berlin decided to supply Leopard 2A6 tanks to Ukraine - first, 14 armored vehicles from the Bundeswehr arsenal will be sent to this country. The German arms manufacturer, the Rheinnmetall Group, is already posting profits.

Group CEO Armin Papperger noted that by the end of 2025, Rheinnmetall plans to increase sales to 11-12 billion euros, while in 2022 the group made a profit of only about 6,5 billion euros. For 2023-2024, the arms manufacturer from Germany expects a profit of about 30-40 billion euros. Thus, the military confrontation between Moscow and Kyiv became a source of profit for Western concerns that produce weapons systems (including tanks).

Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Germany ambiguously perceived Olaf Scholz's decision to send tanks to Ukraine. According to a recent poll conducted on behalf of the ZDF television company, 54 percent of the German population approved of this initiative, and 38 percent expressed their dissatisfaction with such assistance to Kyiv.

As for the parties represented in the Bundestag, the Greens party enjoys the greatest support for the Chancellor's decision - about 75 percent of its members approved tank deliveries. In the Alternative for Germany, only 4 percent of parliamentarians voted for this.

    All nonsense.
One tank costs 7 million euros, let's say. But just "an increase in sales to 11-12 billion euros"
And the profit of the old, 2022 year is 6,5 billion. So what is the share of this tank?
And they deliberately confuse the reader - "sales growth" with "profit only ..."

In real life, the SVO will increase the profits of this German military-industrial complex by 3 times, according to the article ...
RheinMetal can easily deliver a Pure Gold Monument to GDP, for profit growth, if it wants to...

What a monument to him! They will add more sanctions and send their old weapons for recycling. And then new orders for the rearmament of the Bundeswehr and other armies. So they will beat off the increase in energy prices. And the Russians will shed blood. And which are our Russians, and which are not our Russians. They slammed Ukraine. And all with cheap gas "brothers" rushed about. They all laugh at us.

Leopard 2A7V costs more than $20 million. Tanks also need recovery vehicles, shells and ammunition, and spare parts. Repair of equipment will also be carried out at the factories, and the old leopards 2A4, 2A5 will be completely sorted out and replaced with part of the parts and assemblies before shipment. Obsolete tanks will be sent to Ukraine, and the Bundeswehr will purchase new latest modifications. Germany has adopted a 100 billion euro arms program and other European countries are urgently arming.
