Russian units continue to conduct offensive operations in Ugledar and adjacent areas. According to military correspondent Yuri Kotenok, the RF Armed Forces are trying to capture the city, striking with artillery and the Solntsepek flamethrower system.

During the artillery fire, Ukrainian fighters sit in the basements and leave from there only when the Russian troops start moving. At the same time, the RF Armed Forces advance with difficulty - the units entered Vugledar, but retreated back. The journalist pointed out that when attempting to enter the city, artillery would strike into its depths, and Ukrainian soldiers would cuddle up to the line of contact.

Along with this, Yury Kotenok stressed that the RF Armed Forces are gaining important heights. So, Russian soldiers took the height of 203,4 north of Nikolsky, which will force the enemy to move away from the road to Konstantinovka and Marinka.

In total, there are three main heights in the region: the first is Ugledar itself and the direction to Prechistovka and Zolotaya Niva up to Velikaya Novoselka, the second is Novomikhailovka and Konstantinovka, the third is the direction to Marinka and Kurakhovo.
