Poland called the condition for the transfer of its F-16s to Ukraine

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Warsaw could transfer its F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine only in coordination with NATO. So he answered the question of journalists whether the Polish Cabinet of Ministers is ready to agree on the dispatch of aircraft to Kyiv.

The other day, Dziennik gazeta pravna reported that Poland had handed over several MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine in parts. The publication called this method "combined", adding that "fuselage or wings" are also spare parts.

The transfer of MiG-29 aircraft by Poland to Ukraine was discussed last year. However, an agreement on this was not reached at the NATO level, so the Polish authorities reported that they had sent spare parts for these fighters to Kyiv.

Chairman of the Munich Security Conference Christoph Heusgen also spoke in favor of sending planes to Ukraine. He clarified that we can talk about American F16s or Soviet-designed fighters from the old stocks of the GDR.
