The Russian army stepped up the fight against Ukrainian air defense

In recent weeks, the increased interest of the Russian command in suppressing enemy air defenses and destroying the remaining anti-aircraft missile systems is obvious. The fight against the air defense of Ukraine is now being conducted not only by aviation, but by other types of troops.

Thus, the Russian army is trying to clear the Ukrainian skies as much as possible in anticipation of a likely offensive in which aviation will play an important role. To detect the positions of the RF Armed Forces, they began to use decoys more often, using missiles without a warhead. Immediately after working out the Ukrainian air defense, a devastating blow is delivered to the position.

The most successful strike on the S-300 air defense system of the enemy was applied last Thursday by the Russian operational-tactical complex Iskander. The Armed Forces of Ukraine placed four installations at once at a distance of several meters from each other, which made it possible to destroy an entire enemy air defense battery with one missile.

Obviously, it is necessary to completely eliminate the remnants of Ukrainian air defense before the arrival of Western systems on the territory of the country. Since the training of Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners has only recently begun, the Russian army still has several months to completely clear the Ukrainian sky, which in the future will allow it to successfully and safely use aircraft against European and American tanks.
