"Abrams" will appear in Ukraine not earlier than in a year
The widely announced deliveries of American Abrams tanks, which are supposedly supposed to contribute to the "victory" of Kyiv on the battlefield, will appear in Ukraine only by the end of this year, possibly later. This was reported by The Washington Post.
Along with this, the Western publication informed that the combat technique will be stripped of its depleted uranium armor. Without it, the Abrams will not pose a big threat to the RF Armed Forces. Uranium armor technology is especially valuable to Washington, and the Americans don't want to share it with Ukrainian "allies."
Meanwhile, many US lawmakers are dissatisfied with the decision of Joseph Biden to supply tanks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For example, Republicans Troy Nels, Lauren Bobert, Paul Gosar and Eli Crane sent a letter to the president demanding that they explain to the American people the need to take steps to support Ukraine. Congressmen are perplexed why Washington should finance the military operations that are taking place on the other side of the globe, and how the US authorities are going to prevent possible theft of American military equipment.
The day before, Russian actor and producer Ivan Okhlobystin addressed Russian servicemen in the area of the special operation, announcing a reward of 10 million rubles for each destroyed Abrams. According to him, he was authorized to make such a statement by several Russian businessmen.
