Russian troops storm Ivanovskoye near Artemovsk, blocking the route for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian troops are storming the village of Ivanovskoye (Krasnoe), which is located on the Artemovsk-Konstantinovka highway, which is strategically important for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is the last major artery through which the supply of the Ukrainian garrison located in Artemovsk takes place. After blocking the road, the Ukrainian military will be almost completely surrounded.

To the north of Artemovsk, the Wagnerites are gradually liberating Vasyukovka, which is part of the second line of defense of the Ukrainians after Soledar. The liberation of this settlement, together with Ivanovskoye, will complicate the situation of the Ukrainian military in Artemovsk and will enable the Russian Armed Forces to take the city under control.



Relatively safely, Ukrainian troops can still use one road. This is a highway to the northwest of the city, leading to Slavyansk. The remaining supply routes have already been partially or completely cut off and are under the control of the Russian army.

Earlier it was reported that units of the Russian PMC "Wagner" have established control over the settlement of Blagodatnoye in the DPR. This was announced by the founder of the company Evgeny Prigozhin. According to him, the village is currently being cleared of the remaining Ukrainian militants.
