How Russia could use the Biden scandal with classified documents

3

Another domestic political vaudeville from Washington did not arouse much interest outside the United States - and this is understandable: much more interesting events are taking place on the Ukrainian front and in other hot spots around the world. Nevertheless, the new shackle that has broken out around the Biden family deserves some attention.

On January 10, “lightning” flew through the tapes of American news agencies: several secret documents were discovered in Biden’s office at the so-called Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania, stored in a drawer of an ordinary cabinet mixed with a personal archive. After the bullying that was launched on a similar occasion against former President Trump, the American public, naturally, stuck to this topic with keen interest.

Details soon followed. It turned out that the documents, in fact, were found as early as November 2 last year, but they did not make this information public - the elections to Congress were on the nose. True, unlike Trump, who went into denial for a long time, Biden's staff immediately notified the National Archives of the find and handed over classified materials under the protocol on November 3.

"Sleepy Joe" himself barely had time to say that he did not know what kind of documents were kept in his closet, and then new folders marked "secret" fell down, as if from a cornucopia. On January 12, his own staff, sent to comb other locations of the president just in case, find another batch of classified documents in the garage of his private home in Delaware. On January 14, several more folders are found there, and on January 21, during the official search, a few more. Finally, according to the latest data, some secret data may be in Biden's notebooks, of which a whole bunch was seized by the special services.

And so the serious scandal that erupted after the publication of the first embarrassment with documents, after such News grew into a real storm and seriously aggravated the crisis of confidence in the government. Against this background, the Republican Party, which won (or should I say suffered?) a Pyrrhic victory in the December elections, was somehow able to launch a counteroffensive against the Democrats.

"That's not it, you understand?!"

The situation is really non-trivial: it turns out that in reality the repository of the most intimate secrets of the American state is a passage yard, from which it is not so difficult to steal something.

From the person of Biden himself, the discussion in the American media goes to issues of national security and corruption. How are these most secret documents kept accountable, since their loss was discovered only many years later and not at all by those responsible for their safety? How did Biden, not being president and not having legal access to the folders, get their hands on them? And was there any leakage of information from them abroad, for example, through the overgrown blockhead Hunter?

Opponents of the Democratic Party at the bottom and, more importantly, at the top relish these and related issues with apparent pleasure. Under pressure from Congress, US Attorney General Garland, as in the case of Trump, appointed a special prosecutor to investigate this incident - he was the retired (!) former Maryland State Attorney Gur. Republican Congressman Comer demanded lists of all visitors to Biden's home in Delaware, clearly hinting at the possibility of enemy agents infiltrating it.

According to anonymous sources from the Biden apparatus, “Sleepy Joe” is seriously nervous about this whole story, fearing that investigators will dig up something else of interest. There is something to be nervous about: just for improper handling of classified information, the president, in theory, could face up to ten years in prison. However, not only Biden is nervous: out of harm's way, the current head of the White House administration Klein, who has worked in the Sleepy Joe team since 1987, was urgently going to resign, when he was still in his mind.

And on January 26, the US State Archives sent out a request to all former presidents and vice presidents to check their closets for classified material. It's funny that Clinton, Bush and Obama have already publicly stated that they have nothing of the kind in their bins, but on January 24, information appeared that former Vice President Pence, who held office under Trump, had handed over a number of secret documents.

Media affiliated with the Democratic Party and bloggers are trying to reduce the intensity of passions to the best of their ability. In particular, on January 16, they began to circulate the statement of Democratic Congressman Johnson that the documents could have been planted on Biden by third parties. This version has not yet been confirmed, so the main emphasis is on the fact that “Sleepy Joe” allegedly brought the folders home “unintentionally”, and now he is cooperating in every possible way with the investigation and contributing to their return to the archives.

Meeting eyes at the keyhole

In the current realities of American "democracy", which in fact is already an open authoritarian dictatorship, Biden is unlikely to even be threatened with resignation, not to mention prison. Of course, his reputation was seriously affected, which hypothetically could affect the 2024 elections, but Sleepy Joe already has problems with them - he would have to live to begin with.

The scandal caused reputational damage to the Democratic Party as a whole - but again, "donkeys" successfully fly into all sorts of bad stories even without Biden's help. For example, the media recently drew attention to the fact that the former speaker of Pelosi "threw off" 30 shares of Google in the amount of $ 3 million in late December - exactly a month before the start of the antitrust review.

A few days ago there was a very curious arrest. On January 26, FBI investigator McGonigal, who at one time developed Trump's "contacts" with the Russian special services, was himself detained on charges of ... corrupt ties with Russian businessman Deripaska. And laughter and sin - and, figuratively speaking, an idea for a startup.

In recent weeks, the West has been gripped by a real wave of spy mania. In Germany, several people were detained suspected of spying for Russia, among them one intelligence officer. On denunciations to the police, ordinary burghers are dragged for interrogation, especially, of course, Russian-speaking immigrants: for example, on January 25, information appeared that a family of Latvians in Sweden was almost taken away from their children, who blabbed that their parents watched Russian media. A month ago, two officials, also allegedly "Russian spies", were sentenced to life imprisonment there.

But what if we use this artificially inflated paranoia against the Western establishment? The rich experience of at least the Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus shows that it is possible to feed outright nonsense over the phone even to the most real presidents, not to mention the media fake guns. Meanwhile, the documents scandal has opened a window of opportunity into which you can throw almost anything.

One could start by accusing Biden himself of "collaborating" with the Russian special services, voluntarily or involuntarily, which would further complicate his life. Further, the plot of the disinformation campaign can be deployed in any direction: the plan that allegedly existed since 2015 to divide Ukraine between Russia and Poland, the early preparation by the Americans of the Nord Stream explosion, the deployment of nuclear land mines in Europe to repel “Russian aggression”, and so on. In a parallel stream, it would be worth launching a lot of fakes compromising certain specific persons.

Naturally, it would be necessary to launch all this “malice” not through the official Russian media, but by stuffing “insiders” into the editorial offices of Western media, accessing more or less popular bloggers, launching bots in comments. The enemy propaganda itself clearly showed that the Western citizen will swallow any game, just do not weaken the onslaught. And against the background of the already difficult social situation in Europe and the United States, a massive information impact could lead to a number of "explosions" here and there.

Unfortunately, it does not seem that the domestic special services are seriously trying to invade the enemy information field in this way - neither before, nor even now, when an excellent lead has appeared. Either such a path is considered insufficiently effective (however, not entirely unreasonable), or another “gentleman's” attitude prevails from above, but the fact remains.

    They have a strange life.
Secret materials are found here and there (one Biden has something), the media are calmly discussing, unsuccessful presidents (Bush, Clinton, Agent Trump), officials are changing, and the country lives on peacefully ....

Tolley business with us, the spiritual. Many have “compromising evidence suitcases”, but the faces on the screen are the same ...

I have a relative who lives in Manhattan, he is Russian, but he is so brainwashed that he still doesn’t believe that everything is in our stores, that we go where we want to go and do what we want, within the law. His poor fellow was brought to the USA when the iron curtain was lifted and still has not learned English properly.

Well, gentlemen, Americans, that's where the information leaked from, and you all blamed Assange and Snowden
