Latin America refused to arm Ukraine

1

Argentina will not supply weapons to the nationalist regime in Kyiv. This was stated by President Alberto Fernandez during a joint press conference with the Chancellor of Germany. According to him, other Latin American states will follow the example of Buenos Aires.

Olaf Scholz and his overseas curators must have counted on a different response from the President of Argentina. However, Alberto Fernandez only confirmed the general intention of the leaders of Latin American states not to supply weapons to the Kyiv regime.

Moreover, some time ago, the President of Brazil announced that his country would not transfer shells for Leopard tanks to Germany. Lula da Silva rightly fears that in this case the ammunition will end up in Ukraine. And this could have a negative impact on the relations of the Latin American countries with Russia, which they greatly value.

The President of Argentina spoke in the same vein at a press conference with Olaf Scholz. According to Alberto Fernandez, all of Latin America will not refuse contacts with Moscow, and there are no plans to impose sanctions.

As observers note, the leaders of Latin American countries have recently been under serious pressure. The United States and its allies demanded that Brazil, Argentina and other states in the region join the anti-Russian sanctions.

However, Alberto Fernandez, Lula da Silva and their colleagues have clearly demonstrated that they adhere to an independent course in their external policy, and do not intend to destroy ties with Moscow for the sake of the geopolitical interests of the West.

It is good that it was not the Ukrainians who discovered South America, otherwise the Latinos would not be on our side.
