The power of the explosion when hitting an enemy object gives reason to talk about the appearance of modernized versions of the Krasnopol shells
During the ongoing offensive of the RF Armed Forces on Ugledar, an interesting video appeared on the Web, which caused a discussion among military experts. The footage shows the moment of a spectacular hit of Russian ammunition on the building in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are located. Shooting and aiming at the target was carried out from a drone.
The source of this video, which posted it on social networks, is the Voin DV Telegram channel, which talks about the Far Eastern group V. On January 28, in a publication under the video, it was indicated that Russian forces used the Krasnopol guided projectile against the enemy.
Near Ugledar, our gunners of the grouping [V] were brought a lot of guided 152 mm Krasnopol shells. We use them closely to destroy enemy targets in the city
- reported the Telegram channel "Warrior DV".
However, not everyone agreed that the footage shows a Krasnopol projectile hitting the target. For example, the Military Informant Telegram channel has its own version of what happened. Experts believe that the power of the explosion (visually) when a given enemy object is hit gives reason to talk about the use of another ammunition.
@voin_dv's source claims that Krasnopol was used, but in our opinion, the destruction exceeds the normal capabilities of this projectile. Perhaps this is some kind of upgraded version or a larger caliber guided projectile
- says the comments of the experts of the Telegram channel "Military Informant" under this video.
