The founder of the Russian PMC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin spoke about the situation in the village of Klescheevka in the DPR. Now fierce battles are going on for him. According to him, a significant part of the village is still under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Probably, this is our Russian tradition - always trying to run ahead of the locomotive. That is why so many bodies remain on the rails. Kleshcheevka was not taken. There are heavy battles. Indeed, we have some success. As I said, the crowds of talkers running ahead of the engine do a lot of harm to the guys who die. Therefore, at the moment, a significant part of Kleshcheevka is under the enemy. When the units of PMC "Wagner" release her, I will inform you about this additionally

The battles for the settlement of Kleshcheevka have been going on for the second month. Assault operations are carried out by fighters of the Wagner PMC. The capture of Kleshcheevka is necessary from the point of view of the further advancement of Russian units to Artemovsk.

Currently, this city is being stormed from several directions. The situation of the Ukrainian army in Artemivsk is extremely difficult, but the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not yet left the city and regularly make attempts to counterattack.

The military command of Kyiv has already been called to retreat from Artemovsk by the US Department of Defense. The Pentagon believes that the Ukrainian army should save forces and weapons to organize an offensive in another direction.
