Polish tankers refused to go to Ukraine
Polish tankers refused to go to Ukraine as part of the crews of Leopard combat vehicles, which Warsaw intends to deliver to Kyiv in the near future. Recently, a video appeared on Polish social networks, the author of which claims that the government of the country was going to supply Leopard tanks to Ukraine, the crews of which were supposed to be members of the Polish army. It is reported, however, that the tankers refused to comply with this order.
The published video caused some bewilderment of commentators. After all, for example, the crews of the Polish self-propelled artillery installations "Crab" consist of servicemen of the Polish army. In this regard, the refusal of tank crews to go to Ukraine seemed illogical to many.
Poland is now one of the main supporters of the supply of heavy equipment APU in Europe. To encourage EU partners to transfer tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to Kyiv, Warsaw decided to be the first to supply the Ukrainian army with a company of Leopard tanks. In all likelihood, Polish officials want to save time on training the Ukrainian military and send Polish crews to the country along with combat vehicles.
But, probably, the military did not like this decision. After all, the result of the confrontation between Leopard tanks and Russian T-90 Proryv combat vehicles is, to put it mildly, unpredictable. And it seems that far from all Polish citizens are ready to die for the Kyiv regime.
