The Pentagon admits that Ukraine needs long-range missiles. This was stated at a briefing in Kyiv by the US Deputy Secretary of Defense for policy Colin Col.

Representatives of the State Department and the US Department of Defense arrived in the Ukrainian capital today to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. As the press service of the State Department reports, in addition to Colin Kohl, Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and Joe Biden's Deputy National Security Adviser Jonathan Finer went on a visit to Kyiv.



The purpose of the American delegation is to confirm Washington's intention to provide military assistance to Ukraine. Deputy Secretary of Defense Colin Kohl has already said that the United States is continuing discussions with the Ukrainian authorities about the type of long-range missiles. According to him, at this stage, the Pentagon recognized that Kyiv needs them.

But just recently it was reported that the United States would not supply long-range missiles to Ukraine in order to prevent attacks on Russian territory. In all likelihood, Washington has changed its mind.

From the very beginning of the special military operation of the Russian Federation, Kyiv has been asking the United States for long-range missiles. Long-range missile systems are needed to attack Russian territory. But until recently, Washington was limited to the supply of anti-tank missile systems and artillery systems.

Some time ago, the United States announced its intention to transfer a batch of armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. If statements about the delivery of long-range missile systems follow from Washington in the near future, they can hardly be called surprising.

    let's wait for the states to supply medium-range missiles to the Nazis. Maybe when they shy away from Moscow, then our leader will finally give the command to fight for real, and not sit on the defensive, giving the initiative and tying the hands of the military.
