Part of a Russian rocket washed up on a Romanian beach

4

Today, on the beach of the Gura Portitei hotel near the Romanian city of Constanta, an upper stage from an anti-aircraft missile of the Pantsir-S1 complex was discovered. Presumably, this part of the Russian ammunition drifted in the Black Sea after the battles for Zmeiny Island, located a few dozen kilometers to the east.

Specialists of the Romanian special services reported that this component did not pose any danger, however, the block was removed from the place of discovery and transferred to the relevant structures of the country's Ministry of Defense. Local media clarified that no explosives were found in this element of ammunition.

Judging by the published footage, the Romanian military got the first stage of a rocket fired from the Pantsir-S1 complex. This air defense system is successfully used against Ukrainian Tochka-U missiles, as well as against various unmanned aerial vehicles. The complex can be based both on land chassis and on surface ships.

Probably, the missile component found in Romania was fired by one of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet during the battles for Zmeiny Island at the beginning of a special military operation last spring. It should be noted that this is the first case of detection of Russian ammunition outside the territory of Ukraine. Previously, only Ukrainian missiles flew into NATO countries.

The tail stabilizers are poorly fixed. Something I can’t believe that this is an element of ammunition. Let the racketeers appreciate it.

The local Papuans were frightened, and rushed to paint their lips and put on women's clothes - this is what their grandfathers did to please the god of war.

    Think of an event.
Well, an empty tail of an anti-aircraft missile sailed to Romania, so what?
I remember when Ukrainian mines in combat condition sailed to Turkey and Bulgaria, no one really panicked.
