Colonel General: Russia does not have enough mobilization resource in case of a major conflict

12

Russia has a rather large mobilization resource, and its formation meets the tasks of ensuring the country's defense capability. However, in a major combat confrontation, this will not be enough to win. So believes the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Colonel-General Andrey Kartapolov.

The reserve is intended for this, but everything will depend on the scale of the conflicts. We will not be able to completely dispense with the mobilization reserve in the event of a large-scale war

– said Kartapolov in an interview RBC.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry does not disclose the size of the state's mobilization reserve.

The day before, State Duma deputy Lieutenant-General Andrey Gurulev spoke about the need to build up the mobile reserve of the Russian Armed Forces, since Poland and other NATO countries could not be ruled out interfering in the Ukrainian conflict. At the same time, the military believes that at present there is no need for a second wave of mobilization, since not all previously mobilized citizens have begun to perform their military duties.

In addition, Gurulev is sure that the Russian industry is not yet ready to provide a large number of mobilized military personnel with everything they need.

The Kremlin also repeatedly pointed out that there were no grounds for a second wave of mobilization.

There is a mobilization reserve (aka a leopard - an experiment, apparently not very successful). There is a contract for regular fees, some kind of mini-micro-payments and an obligation, if anything, to appear "horse, crowded and armed." By the way, they are permanently considered "contract workers", although the contract is rather peculiar.
There is a mobilization resource - these are just the same ordinary storekeepers who did not sign additional contracts with the Moscow Region after the deadline.
Kartapolov talks about the reserve (and people of his level choose terms in statements quite carefully). The editors dragged the same resource here (which is somewhat different).
In general, please decide what the article is about.

    Z. Y. : I could be wrong, but it has long been the impression that the 1st partial was taken mainly from the "reserve".

It turns out that this mobilization resource is to blame for the fact that the Defense Ministry does not have enough mobilization reserve.
    Well, who else?

But in general, is the Russian industry capable of providing at least something, or is it only to manufacture ceremonial copies of military equipment?
Isn't it time to put her on martial law?

De facto transferred a long time ago and works in 3 shifts.
The issue is that new production facilities and new personnel do not appear at the snap of a finger.

And where were these Shoigu and Gerasimovs when they started the SVO, and even earlier, since 2014, when it was clear that war could not be avoided, they were playing biathlon and showing off single copies of equipment. without analogues in the world, so firefighters in the ministers of the Ministry of Defense only know how. Russia's trouble is not in mob resources, the trouble is in modern weapons and support. On show, the warriors are centurions, in fact there are no underpants for the mobilized. About UAVs and other thermal imagers at the beginning of the NWO, a centric communication network and other things, there is not even a question .....

Against the background of the continuation of the steps of the Anglo-Saxons and the authorities to draw Russia into a deadly war for us with NATO, these two points of view resemble a conversation between two sheep in a herd that is being led to the slaughter.
One says: Why are we trudging so slowly?
Second to him: Take your time, the owner knows best what he is doing

    Ha.
That is, "we won't tell you, it's secret, but that's not enough. We need more, but we won't pull it"
sleight of hand and no fraud ...

If Kadyrov dies of all nuclear weapons, any reserve will not be enough .... They are in paradise, the rest are bye-bye

As I understand it, there are 2 generals in the event of a big conflict, there is no one and nothing to fight with. The question is, what is SVO now? If there is no one and nothing to fight, what to do? Peace talks? Or leaving the occupied territory? Molotov, back in the 70s, said that the world is good, but they will not give us a peaceful life, we need to prepare and be ready.

Oh, Gurulev sobered up and began to say at least some intelligible things.

At first I was afraid that something would start to change, and even for the better, and then I realized that the mess continues. The main thing is stability.
