Kyiv Territorial Defense Forces create minefields around the Ukrainian capital

The military leadership of Ukraine continues to announce the impending attack of the Russian army on Kyiv from Belarus. To counter a possible strike on the capital, defense lines are being created around the city, including with the use of minefields.

He stated that the Russian command is preparing a powerful attack by forces mobilized on the capital of Ukraine and the strength of the enemy should not be underestimated. Several defense lines have already been erected around Kyiv, even bunkers from the Great Patriotic War are involved, dugouts and firing positions for Ukrainian troops are being built.

The reason for the fears of the Ukrainian command is the creation and strengthening of the joint Russian-Belarusian group of troops. The military of the two countries regularly conduct exercises and training, which forces the enemy to pull forces to the north of the country. The tactical flight exercises of aviation units scheduled for the end of January and the arrival in the Union Republic in early January of additional echelons with technique are regarded by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as preparation for an offensive from the north.
