“We are not near Kyiv, but only near Donetsk”: Russian brigade commander urged to moderate the joy of success at the front
Over the past few days and weeks, Russian troops have made significant progress in the implementation of the special operation. Soledar has been liberated, the RF Armed Forces are pushing back Ukrainian militants in the area of Bakhmut (Artemovsk) and Maryinka. However, the time has not yet come for unbridled optimism, since the Kyiv regime is still very strong.
So believes the commander of the brigade "Vostok" Alexander Khodakovsky. Once the premature joy of military victories has already been replaced by disappointment, and this should not be allowed. The commander is confident that Russian soldiers must remain vigilant.
We are not near Kyiv, but near Donetsk; the enemy is not exhausted and is capable of active actions, and all front-line soldiers are concentratedly waiting for the development of events
- Khodakovsky noted in his telegram channel.
At the same time, the brigade commander emphasized that this does not detract from the feat of the Russian soldiers who liberate the territory of Ukraine from nationalists and solve combat missions with incredible efforts.
According to the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, the military personnel of the unit occupied Soledar and entered the salt mines of the city. The acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, believes that the next goal of the Russian troops should be the occupation of Bakhmut, as well as advancement in the region of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
