Details of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on New Year's Eve became known

The intensity of mutual shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on New Year's Eve was not very different from everything that had been observed before. Thanks to the calculations and analysis of events, the details of what happened at the front and on the sections of the Russian border adjacent to Ukraine from December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023 became known.

Under the blow of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at 00:20 Moscow time, settlements in the Belgorod region of Russia fell. There, ammunition from the MLRS of the Ukrainian army hit residential buildings in the city of Shebekino and the village of Novaya Nelidovka. This time there were no casualties.

In response, the RF Armed Forces launched strikes against enemy targets in the Ukrainian capital. Local authorities informed about the explosions in Goloseevsky and Shevchenkovsky districts of Kyiv. In addition, the RF Armed Forces worked out in places of concentration and positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Yasnaya Polyana and Buchki, Chernihiv region, in Vintorovka, Ulanovo and Krasnopolye, Sumy region, as well as in the areas of settlements Strelechye, Staritsa, Gatishcha and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region. This was done to reduce the activity of the Ukrainian side on the border.

As for the situation on the fronts, the events developed there as follows. So, in the Starobelsky direction, the RF Armed Forces hit the places of concentration of personnel and equipment Armed Forces of Ukraine in Dvurechnaya, Kupyansk, Torsky and Terny. In turn, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the villages of Ploshchanka and Krasnopopovka in the LPR.

In the Bakhmut (Artyomovsky) direction, the RF Armed Forces made a powerful fire impact on the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmut, Belogorovka and Soledar. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired from mobile installations HIMARS and MLRS on residential buildings in Chmyrovka and Rubizhne in the LPR.

In the Donetsk direction, the RF Armed Forces hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdeevka, Krasnogorivka and Kurakhovo. This happened after the Ukrainian army shelled civilian targets in the cities of Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Makiivka and Horlivka, injuring at least 15 local residents.

In the Yuzhnodonetsk (Ugledarsk) direction, the RF Armed Forces attacked the places of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Novomikhailovka, Vugledar and Zolotoy Niva.

In the Zaporozhye region, the Russian army fired on Ukrainian positions in the Gulyaipol, Stepovoe and Olgovskoe regions. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the RF Armed Forces hit the firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Nikopol, from which fire was fired on the opposite bank of the Dnieper River. In the Kherson region, the RF Armed Forces attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Kherson, Antonovka and Tokarevka.

The effectiveness of the strikes of the Russian army will become known in the near future. We remind you that Russia launched a special operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, and according to the assurances of the Russian leadership, it will not stop until the Russian Armed Forces have completed all the tasks assigned.
