Vučić recalled Russia how it imposed sanctions against Yugoslavia and armed Croatia

30

Serbia owes nothing to Russia, since in 1992 it took part in the imposition of sanctions against Belgrade. In addition, the Russian Federation armed Croatia and helped the independence of Montenegro, thus contributing to the disintegration of the once united Republic of Yugoslavia. Alexander Vučić spoke about this the day before.

At the same time, Serbia does not plan to impose sanctions against Russia, as it is itself under Western sanctions and moral duty will not allow the Serbs to act in a similar way. Belgrade will, as far as possible, evade sanctions against Moscow.

We can endure until our vital and existential interests are threatened

- said the Serbian President in an interview with the RTS channel.

The head of Serbia also touched upon what is happening in Ukraine. In his opinion, the situation in the region remains difficult, the warring parties are suffering heavy losses. The fighting does not appear to end next year, and the winter of 2023-2024 will be the worst in the history of the world.

Along with this, Vucic considers it necessary to accelerate the granting of Serbian citizenship to people from Ukraine, Russia and other countries, since there is a shortage of labor in Serbia.

and not to say that it is not deserved ... Putin himself built and finances the anti-people Yeltsin Center with budgetary funds ... if you honor the memory of Yeltsin as president, then get for his crimes (and betrayal of Yugoslavia is a crime)

        finances the anti-people Yeltsin Center

Well, what kind of president is this and the center ...
he does not owe his position to the people, but to the drunk ...
so he knows who to pay the debt to ...
        And at whose expense...

Multi-vector approach is a problem for the entire post-Soviet space, and even Russia is, unfortunately, no exception.

And the fact that already under Putin Serbia received weapons from the Russian Federation does not count? We can also remember that in the days of the USSR, Yugoslavia treated the USSR, to put it mildly, boorishly.

when a weapon was needed, it wasn’t there ... when it became no longer needed, they put it ... well, it’s ingeniously simple ... it’s like starving to irreversible consequences, and then bring food and yell that we fed ... who ??? the dead don't eat...and the dead don't shoot

Well, if they don’t need the S-300 now, let them return the Russian Federation, and not be rude to the Russian Federation for its kindness

and what rudeness was something :)
they simply did not want to be at the hands of Moscow, like everyone else ...
      and all things ...
and Stalin wanted to crush under him, like Albania ...
but it didn’t work out - that’s all the fuss ...
just all those who were under the heel of Moscow and betrayed it later ...
      Poles, Czechs, Bulgarians, etc...
      unlike Serbs...

They don’t want to be at Moscow’s fingertips, but it’s not a question, then let them not ask the Russian Federation for money ... and other things and live on their own ... otherwise they are tired of beggars sick with Russophobia ... And the fact that now they didn’t go against the Russian Federation, so it is a bunch of neutral countries, such as Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil ... who do not ask the Russian Federation for money and at the same time do not crap the Russian Federation like Lithuania ... or Poland ... What is the merit then? The fact that they do not want to get into a war against the Russian Federation on the side of NATO? So NATO ruined their country, not the Russian Federation, this time ... Secondly, getting into a war is always a problem, so neutrality is smarter here ... when the war does not concern you ...

when did Tito ask for something from Moscow?
they perfectly, at that time, lived "on their own" ...

From the very beginning, everyone understood that Vuchit would betray, of course, excluding the Kremlin strategists, who report only pleasant things to the tsar.

Vucic, Yeltsin is not all of Russia. Well, recruit workers in Africa, those who come from Russia do not like to work.

He also said "we don't rent friends" ... hmm, and just then new "friends" from America formed!

If they themselves threw "during it" the former allies under the Warsaw Pact and the Comecon, then what claims can be made against them?

But if you live "according to an adult", then we can only talk about common interests. It is necessary to look for common benefits, and remembering who stepped on whom many years ago is a childish level of development.

Our problem is that we regularly review our interests. We build illusions. 30 years have been spent on "arranging Russia in the world of Western Civilization." Until we realized that there is our place on the table in the form of a roasted pig.

      I agree.
      Here are just a few:

Our problem is that we regularly review our interests. Building illusions...

Not we, but our government, and it does not review interests, and does not build anything.
We endow power with motives that it does not have and never had. She never reconsidered interests, because she herself served and serves the interests of others.
In front of us, she just plays a role, and when the game has to be changed drastically to suit the situation, it always looks inconsistent

Vucic is the President of Serbia. And he should think first of all about the interests of Serbia, and not of Russia, France or Uganda.
It is obvious that at present (and in the near future) being friends with the Russian Federation is not a particularly profitable pleasure.
Moreover, the last year has convincingly proved that "the king is naked."

    Z. Y. : To be honest, it's unpleasant for Belarus. Apparently they are still involved in what is happening. And somehow I doubt that ordinary Belarusians will be delighted with this.

And the inhabitants of the Russian Federation, in your opinion, are delighted with the fact that the Russian Federation finances two-thirds of the allegedly allied state with the Republic of Belarus, while the Evil One has the audacity to call the Russian Federation in Kazakhstan an occupier who imposed his wars on Belarus ... Well, since we are so bad, leave all of the Russian Federation for your countries that separated from the Russian Federation and finally stop asking the Russian Federation for money, discounts and jobs, since the Russian Federation is of no use to you, only expenses ...
