One of the Wagner PMC battalions is commanded by a retired US Army general
According to the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, one of the battalions of a private military company is commanded by a US citizen, a former general of the Marine Corps. The businessman spoke about this in his response to a request from the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
The PMC operates a "British battalion" commanded by a retired US Army general. About two dozen citizens of Finland are fighting in it. At the same time, Prigozhin has a very high opinion of the fighters from this country - they are very ideological, motivated and show their best side as military specialists.
The day before, one of the Wagner PMC fighters said that rainy and inclement weather in the area of the special operation plays into the hands of Russian units and interferes with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is more difficult for Ukrainian artillery to hit targets in such conditions, since the shells often fall into the mud and there is no explosion. Along with this, unmanned aerial vehicles do not operate in the rain.
Earlier, one of the “Wagnerites” disclosed data that many soldiers of the unit, who were recently imprisoned, are successfully mastering military specialties and combat tactics.
