“We will go to heaven, and they will simply die”: what did Putin want to say?
Since yesterday, probably all the media, both Russian and foreign, have repeatedly repeated and discussed the new “catch phrase” of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, which he uttered at the next meeting of the international Valdai Discussion Forum.
- That’s exactly what the Russian president said when answering the question about Russia's possible use of nuclear weapons and also the possible consequences of this.
I will not talk here about what it sounded after the explanation of the Russian military doctrine, in which there are no installations about the so-called “preventive” nuclear strike, and so on - this has already been done before me and, I think, will be done and will be said many times after. I would like to briefly focus on what is read from this phrase by the Russian president, so to speak, between the lines. This statement by Putin belongs to a group clearly not planned in advance.
That is, of course, the Russian president probably somehow thought out the discussion on such topics and possible answers in preparing for this and other similar conversations, nevertheless these very specific words and the way they were presented were clearly spontaneous. Namely, in these cases, one can most successfully try to analyze the real train of thought of the author, as well as generally his life position on some issues. In pre-prepared speeches, wording is often chosen more streamlined, words are used more carefully, and indeed a person who often speaks is not at all the person who prepared it. And in this form of open conversation, even with Putin, who himself always carefully and wisely chooses the wording, quite a lot is revealed. Especially for those who can and want to listen, hear and analyze.
Firstly, of course, it should be noted that in conjunction with the previously said phrase “... Why do we need such a world if Russia does not exist in it?” Putin once again maximally intelligibly makes it clear to a possible adversary that in the event of a real attack we will really go to the very end, and there are no illusions that someone will somehow escape retaliation or, so to speak, “come out dry of their water” »No one should be. And although all these streamlined formulations about a “possible adversary” are apparently used for some politically correct purposes at every mention of such situations, just like every other mention, it’s clear to everyone exactly who it is: it’s not even NATO, as such, it’s it is the United States of America, without which all other NATO nuclear forces, compared with the Russian ones, are practically nothing. It is precisely the States today that should think about where they can go their own recently inadequately external policies and how it can all end for the whole world.
Many, including those overseas, explain the actions of the United States on the international scene mainly by some internal political confrontations in America itself, and Putin makes it clear to them what they can do to play this way - no internal US policy will be needed after that, since the USA itself will not exist, and most likely there will not be our whole beautiful planet Earth, or at least life on it for a long period of time ... But this is actually a conclusion, which, one can also say, lies on the surface .
And secondly, and this is already more interesting from my point of view and not so noticeable at first glance, the President of the Russian Federation himself thus and even most likely not suspecting it makes it clear the following: although Russia seems to relate civilizationally and historically to the European, that is, the so-called “Western” civilization, but mentally our country is nevertheless closer to the East. The phrase “we will go to paradise, and they will just die” is a typically Eastern approach to a possible death of our own. In general, a kind of “better death”, which in some cases is even better than saving life, is a concept peculiar to eastern philosophies and the eastern way of fighting - remember, for example, samurai, kamikazes, Muslim theories about warriors entering paradise, or even numerous cases of self-sacrifice our military personnel in the name of some great goal.
In the West, as a rule, death is not divided into “good” and “bad”, there is life and it is always a priority, but there is death. Even the voluntary death taking place in the West, in the overwhelming majority of cases, can be associated with the avoidance of some terrible problems, pain, or something else like that in life, that is, in essence, simply fear. And this is completely different. And precisely for this reason, most Western strategists, political scientists and politicians constantly fail in their calculations and analyzes of both Russia and other eastern countries (China, Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc.). They either don’t want, or simply are not able to understand and admit that someone may have a fundamentally different approach, different values and philosophy of life than they themselves. For several centuries they have been planning, counting, making plans (and intrigues!), And then again and again they never cease to be surprised that the way they wanted didn’t work out again ...
Maybe it will reach them all the same even now? .. And so, in plain text, for stupid people, you don’t even have to think: “You won’t succeed!” - Putin tells them.
Let’s hope that they will at least believe it, if they think and analyze it turns out badly. And I really would not want to go to heaven ahead of time ...
We are victims of aggression, and we, as martyrs, will go to heaven. And they just die. They won’t even have time to repent ...
