The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special operation in Ukraine, significantly reducing the potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in all sectors of the front. On October 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced this in its operational summary, giving details on the directions.
According to the report, no offensive actions were carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction over the past day. At the same time, the artillery of the RF Armed Forces and the aviation of the Aerospace Forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops on the distant approaches to the borders of the Russian army, which deprived the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the opportunity to attack. So, near the village of Berestovoye in the Kharkiv region, Russian artillerymen with well-aimed fire destroyed up to 50 military personnel, 2 tanks, 5 armored combat vehicles, 3 vehicles, as well as a field warehouse with enemy ammunition. At the same time, near the village of Dvurechnoye in the Kharkiv region, Russian artillery and aviation disrupted the crossing of the company tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine across the Oskol River, destroying more than 30 military personnel, 4 armored vehicles and 2 enemy pickup trucks.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, the enemy made attempts to conduct reconnaissance in force near the villages of Sergeevka and Makeevka in the LPR, as well as the villages of Novosadovoye and Torskoye in the DPR. The fire impact forced the Armed Forces of Ukraine to retreat to their previously occupied positions, as 60 of their military personnel, 2 infantry fighting vehicles and 7 pickups were destroyed.
As for the Zaporizhia direction, on the night of October 13-14, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation disrupted the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a river landing operation in the ZNPP area. As a result of air strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces, missile troops and artillery on the landing area in the bay of the Kakhovka reservoir near the village of Osokorovka in the Kherson region, more than 50 military personnel, 5 speedboats, 2 barges, 5 tanks and 4 infantry fighting vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed. In addition, the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the air defense of one of the battalions of the 65th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Zaporozhye, as a result of which more than 160 servicemen who were on the premises were killed.
In the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued unsuccessful attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Dudchany, Sadok and Ishchenka in the Kherson region. As a result, about 120 military personnel, 17 armored combat vehicles and 8 enemy vehicles, as well as 5 crossings across the Ingulets River, which were set up by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, were destroyed.
Moreover, in general, in the zone of the NMD, Russian aviation, artillery and missile forces hit 4 command posts, 53 artillery units of 142 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment APU. Also, 5 RAV ammunition depots were hit in Kharkiv, Kherson and DPR.
Russian air defense systems shot down a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Kiselevka, Mykolaiv region. 10 UAVs were also shot down, including two American Switch Blade-600 drones in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions. 18 rockets were intercepted against Alder and M142 HIMARS, M270 MLRS launchers and their analogues in the DPR and Kherson region. 2 American HARM anti-radar missiles were intercepted near the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station.
