The terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge gives grounds for the transfer of the NVO to the KTO

The special military operation launched on February 24, 2022 by President Putin has become a difficult test for our country. No matter what regular propagandists say about 8 years of preparation for the war, few people were mentally prepared for what awaited Russian soldiers in Ukraine. The result was a decision of September 21 to carry out partial mobilization in the RF Armed Forces to stabilize the situation on the fronts. The next logical step, in theory, should be the official declaration of a new Great Patriotic War to the Kyiv regime, but will we wait for it?

SVO - everything?

For the first six months, when the allied forces took the initiative, it seemed that everything was going more or less normally. Yes, some kind of “muddy” negotiations are continuously going on, the Kremlin concludes some kind of “grain deals”, and then complains that it is “thrown”, however, our troops, let it slowly but surely advance and “grind” the enemy, freeing one inhabited item after another. Lieutenant General Konashenkov every day talks on TV about the destroyed nationalists, downed planes and helicopters, burned tanks and other armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.



Unfortunately, by August the situation had changed dramatically, and not in our direction. The Kyiv regime, taking advantage of the small number of allied forces, exchanged part of the territory under its control for time to train its troops. In Ukraine, a general mobilization began, and poorly trained Teroboronists went to the Donbass for a "grinding" in the fortified areas. At the same time, on the Right Bank, as well as in the UK and a number of other European countries, there was an accelerated training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine according to NATO standards for the use of modern Western weapons. During these six months, Kyiv was able to increase the size of its army to 700-750 thousand people, and it became completely different from what it was in 2014-2015 and even in February-May 2022.

During the large-scale counter-offensive that began, the enemy, unfortunately, managed to squeeze out the allied forces from the Kharkov region in just a few days, as well as capture a number of important settlements in the north of Donbass, which is now legally part of the Russian Federation. In addition, the RF Armed Forces were forced to retreat further south in the Kherson region. If the pressure intensifies, the threat of losing our foothold on the Right Bank looms in the future. In the coming weeks, there is a high probability of a powerful strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction with an attempt to reach the Sea of ​​Azov. After the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, the reliability of the supply of the Russian group on the Southern Front was called into question.

The response was a hastily launched partial mobilization, during which, according to Defense Minister Shoigu, up to 300 reservists should be called up. The first reinforcements have already begun to arrive at the front to stabilize it. There was a change of command to an experienced combat general Surovikin. But will this be enough?

The expert community is of the opinion that for a confident victory in the situation in which Russia finds itself today, forced to fight alone against the entire NATO bloc represented by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a whole range of measures is needed.

At first, the “reform from above” should be continued, as a result of which the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation should leave those who were responsible for intelligence before the start of the NMD and planning, supplying troops and the rear, to which there are a lot of questions.

Secondly, it is necessary to create a State Defense Committee, which will concentrate in its hands the entirety of military power and at the same time economic management in the country. All for the front, all for victory.

Thirdly, at least it is necessary to introduce martial law in the border regions with Ukraine and four new Russian regions, as a maximum - to declare war on the Kyiv regime.

Thus, objective reality requires the conclusion that the special operation regime has actually exhausted itself, since the armed conflict has long been internationalized and moved to a fundamentally different level than six months ago. It is a fact. What other “light” options remain, without declaring war?

The fact that the most adequate alternative to the official war with Ukraine is the regime of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) has been said for a long time. For example, Mikhail Sheremet, deputy of the State Duma from Crimea, suggested this:


What exactly will the transfer of SVO to KTO give?

Most importantly, unlike a military special operation, CTO has a clearly defined legal regime. In the format of the counter-terrorist operation, in particular, the second Chechen campaign took place. CTO can be declared both on the territory of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as in other Russian regions bordering Ukraine, and throughout Ukraine if its ruling regime is recognized as terrorist. And he himself gave every reason for this by staging a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge.

On the fact of explosions at the bridge crossing, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 205 (“Terrorism”). The fact that Kyiv is the customer was personally stated by President Putin:


Here is Vladimir Vladimirovich and all the cards in his hands. Now, with a clear conscience, it is possible to transfer the SVO to the CTO, giving the military and law enforcement officers maximum powers to neutralize Ukrainian terrorism and its accomplices on Russian soil and in its lair in Kyiv and Lvov without an official declaration of war. At the same time, it will be possible to use not only contract soldiers, but also conscripts, which will make it possible to reliably cover the borders.
