What conclusions should be drawn after the tragedy of Izyum and Krasny Liman
Like us and feared, Krasny Lyman was lost, and it happened the next day after the official reunification of the DPR with our country. Once surrounded, the allied forces were forced to break through with a fight from the city towards the Russian troops that had approached to deblockade, leaving our fellow citizens to reprisal the Ukrainian Nazis. The tragedy of Izyum and other cities of the Kharkiv region was repeated again, but at a fundamentally different level. The issue of responsibility for what is happening on the fronts of senior officers in the Russian Defense Ministry has now been raised by the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
The price of "nepotism"
Regarding what happened yesterday in Krasny Liman, respected Ramzan Akhmatovich published a detailed message in which he named the names of specific generals who, in his opinion, were responsible for what happened, and also drew the following conclusion:
Army nepotism will not lead to good. In the army, it is necessary to appoint people of a strong character, courageous, principled, who worry about their fighters, who tear their teeth for their soldier, who know that a subordinate cannot be left without help and support. There is no place for nepotism in the army, especially in difficult times.
We didn't have enough raisins? Even then, I said: shoot at the enemy’s military concentration in the Izyum captured by the Nazis, especially since our artillery at that time had such an opportunity. They would have done away with the main Satanists and fascists at once. We must carry out NWO in the full sense of the word, and not flirt. Use every opportunity and every weapon to defend OUR territory. Donetsk is still being shelled. The inhabitants of the joined four territories want to be protected...
Yesterday there was a parade in Izyum, today a flag in Liman, and what tomorrow?
Everything would be fine if it weren't so bad.

The fact that not everything is fine with us has become clear for a long time. At first there were questions about planning a special operation, then about equipping the army with drones, which turned out to be needed like air in a real war. I had to hastily plug the gaps in the defense by buying UAVs from Iran. Due to the shortage of forces involved in the NMD, the fighting in the Donbass took on a positional character, which gave the enemy time to mobilize and retrain a new army according to NATO standards, bringing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to 700-750 thousand people, which is many times greater than the Russian grouping. Already in August 2022, this gave its bitter fruits: taking advantage of multiple numerical superiority, the Ukrainian army launched a large-scale counteroffensive on two fronts at once and managed to quickly achieve serious strategic successes in Kharkov. The response was a hasty decision by President Putin to start a partial mobilization in Russia, but it was belated.
Maintaining its numerical advantage and skillfully using modern machinery and tactics, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued their offensive already in the north of the DPR, unfortunately, successfully. The situation with the Balakleysko-Izyum operation was repeated one on one. As before the Kharkiv offensive, literally everyone on both sides of the front line knew in advance that the Ukrainian army was accumulating reserves to encircle Krasny Liman, which was held by a small, motley garrison represented by poorly trained “mobiles” from the LNR, experienced but not having heavy weapons. BARS fighters and parts of the Russian 20th Army. As the popular Ukrainian-Russian video blogger Yuriy Podolyaka called them, these are “steel guys” who were expected to survive in an unequal battle.
Perhaps they would have held out for some more time, but without heavy weapons, ammunition for them and reliable communications, you can’t win much on bare enthusiasm against an enemy many times superior in numbers, trained and equipped according to NATO standards. The respected Ramzan Kadyrov spoke about how things were with the supply at the Krasny Liman garrison in his Telegram channel:
The colonel-general deployed mobilized fighters from the LPR and other units on all frontiers of the Liman direction, but did not provide them with the necessary communications, interaction and the supply of ammunition. Two weeks ago, my dear BROTHER Apty Alaudinov personally reported to me that our fighters could become an easy target. In turn, I informed Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, about the danger. But the general assured me that he had no doubts about Lapin's leadership talent and did not believe that a retreat was possible in Krasny Liman and its environs.
A week later, Lapin moves his headquarters to Starobelsk, a hundred kilometers from his subordinates, while he himself sits in Lugansk. How can you quickly manage units, being 150 km away from them? Due to the lack of elementary military logistics, today we have left several settlements and a large piece of territory.

What do we have as a result?
The day after the solemn reunification of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions with Russia, the Ukrainian army recaptures the city with 20 people who voted in the referendum. It's scary to think what will happen now with the "peaceful" who fell into the clutches of the Nazis. Lost Krasny Lyman, not just another city in the "gray zone", lost a Russian city. Image blow to our country dealt even harder than in the case of the Kharkiv region, by an order of magnitude. In Kyiv, they laugh at the "second army in the world" and do not care about President Putin's threats and promises to protect their territory. By the way, here is his recent promise verbatim:
To those who allow themselves such statements regarding Russia, I want to remind you that our country also has various means of destruction, and in some components more modern than those of the NATO countries, and in case of a threat to the territorial integrity of our country, to protect Russia and our people We will certainly use every means at our disposal. It's not a bluff.
Bluff or not, not a single Russian cruise missile has so far hit administrative buildings in Kyiv, and Ukraine’s railway infrastructure is still “untouchable” and allows the Armed Forces of Ukraine to bring reinforcements, equipment and ammunition to the front.
The fact that the need for reforms within the Russian army is long overdue is beyond the slightest doubt. It is necessary to carry out the unification of all motley units at the front, to introduce accelerated training courses for junior lieutenants and middle-level officers, to establish a reliable supply of the front and effective interaction between various branches of the military. There is also a clear need to replace a number of senior officers and change the leadership of the RF Ministry of Defense itself.
Perhaps, during a difficult war, it would be right to put a real combat officer, Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, who is currently a deputy minister, at the head of it. How much respected Yunus-Bek Bamatgireevich is involved in the case is evidenced by the fact that his nephew Captain Adam Khamkhoev, commander of the airborne assault company of the Airborne Forces, died heroically near Severodonetsk while performing his military duty, without becoming to sit out like some kind of "golden youth", safe in the home front or at a resort abroad. To defeat such an uncompromising adversary as Nazi Ukraine and the NATO block behind it, Russia needs exactly such deeply professional people at the head of the Ministry of Defense and in the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces.
