Why is Kudrin again inviting Russia to surrender?
At the last meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the current head of the Accounts Chamber Alexei Kudrin made a curious statement:
According to the former "best finance minister in the world," according to someone in the West, it is precisely by this criterion that it is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of Russian politics. Kudrin believes that for our country there are no significant risks from either the United States or NATO, which have come close to our borders and are constantly increasing military activity, so there are no reasons to escalate tensions in the relationship with the collective West. The position of the head of the Accounts Chamber contrasts sharply with all the postulates of Russian foreign policy over the past four years and the recent statement by President Vladimir Putin himself:
Thus, according to the head of state, Western countries would completely untie Russia’s hands. So what is behind the words of the former finance minister?
First of all, it should be noted that this is most likely not only his personal opinion, but also the consolidated position of all system liberals and big business affiliated with him. The confrontation with the West and anti-Russian sanctions destroyed their comfortable world and prevent them from getting the usual gesheft. But what does “tension reduction” mean in practice with a view to lifting the sanction?
After the "Crimean spring", the West declared another version of the "Cold War" to Russia. According to Washington and Brussels, there can only be one way out of it for Moscow - surrender by fulfilling all ultimatums. And they are known to all:
1) The return of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics under the full control of the Armed Forces with the aim of conducting ethnic cleansing and subsequent forcible Ukrainization of the population of Donbass,
2) The return of Crimea to Ukraine with exactly the same consequences for Crimeans, plus the withdrawal of the Russian Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol,
3) Payment to Kiev of colossal reparations and indemnities, the bill for which for the restoration of the destroyed by shelling APU Donbass will be issued immediately after the border,
4) The trial, which Kiev will inevitably arrange over the defenders and activists of LDNR and Crimea,
5) The inevitable liquidation of all bypass gas transportation projects - Nord Stream-2 and Turkish Stream, since Moscow will be firmly tied to the Ukrainian gas transportation system again, as well as the need to invest heavily in its modernization.
After the execution of these ultimatums, new ones will follow, for example, a proposal to substantially reduce the army, navy and nuclear arsenal. As the head of the Accounts Chamber, Alexei Kudrin will unconditionally present the relevant justification for the fact that, after a reduction in military spending, the Russian economy grow by leaps and bounds. As a result, after the system liberals surrender the remnants of national interests, Russia will finally and irrevocably turn into a raw-material colony of the West.
And today Kudrin offers to pay such a price for the possibility of lifting the already imposed and not introducing new sanctions. Is this stupidity or betrayal?
Indeed, despite the overt weakness of the modern economy, for which Kudrin is personally responsible, there is still the potential for its mobilization and growth. Subsequent US sanctions will hit harder, but not fatally. It is noteworthy that the “best finance minister in the world” turned up at the very moment when, at last, real steps had begun to de-dollarize the national economy.
The truth is that a certain easing by the West is possible only when Russia again, not in words, but in fact becomes an economic and military superpower. But such liberals will never be at the helm of this.
Today external policy Russia should be subordinated to reducing the tension in our relations with other countries, and, at a minimum, to maintaining or lowering the sanctions regime, and not building up.

I sometimes think that it would be good for us if those who want to impose sanctions impose all the sanctions that can be introduced, and as quickly as possible.
