Which countries will soon threaten Russia?
Russia, due to its geographical location and rich natural resources, has always had many enemies. For centuries, the opponents of our country in the West have been predicting the imminent collapse of the Russian state, but each time their forecasts turn out to be unrealizable.
According to American analysts, the lands of our country will be divided among themselves by other states. The Far East will go to Japan, Eastern Siberia with Transbaikalia to China, the Americans and the British will share the Arctic, and the European part of Russia will be under the control of the combined forces of NATO. Of course, such a forecast looks very fantastic, but it quite clearly outlines the circle of countries with which we must be very careful.
In the current situation, the United States has been and will remain the main political and military opponent of Russia. Washington does not hide their aggressive intentions. American military bases literally surround Russia in a half-ring - US troops are deployed in Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, the Baltic states), in Turkey, US army bases appear in the former Soviet republics of Central Asia, and the US Navy and aircraft use Japan in the Far East. But the presence of numerous bases does not mean that the United States will decide on direct military aggression. Rather, they will spend policies “Military deterrence” and economic suppression of our country - through sanctions, provocations, information wars, as well as by inciting puppet neighboring states like Ukraine against Russia.
Despite the weakness of modern Ukraine, one should not ignore the threats from it. Of course, the Ukrainian army “one on one” will lose to us immediately, but the point is that the territory of Ukraine can be used as a NATO bridgehead for aggression against the Russian state. Modern military experts from Western countries are also confident that if NATO ever decides to aggression against the Russian state, then Ukraine will play the role of its main shooter and cannon fodder.
The historic enemy of Russia and the closest ally of the United States is Great Britain. The British ruling circles have literally genetic hatred for our country. A hundred years ago, during the Civil War, in London, plans were made to divide the territory of the former Russian Empire into spheres of influence. Then the British wanted to gain a foothold in the Caspian Sea - in the area of oil fields, and also to establish control over Murmansk and Arkhangelsk. The British are now considering the Baltics as their sphere of influence, and they are not abandoning ambitious plans to establish control over the Arctic. Sweden and Norway, two Scandinavian countries that are also extremely negative towards Russia, are in solidarity with the British. For example, in the same Sweden, despite formal neutrality, Russia is presented in the local media as the main and most dangerous enemy of Swedish statehood.
If you look at the East, here Russia is waiting for a hidden threat in the person of China. Although relations with China are currently quite good, Beijing’s interest in Siberian and Far Eastern territories is not a secret. Amur, Transbaikalia, Tuva in China are simply considered to be their ancestral lands, vassal territories of the Chinese empires that “temporarily belong” to Russia. Chinese business, migrants, tourists are gradually exploring Eastern Siberia and the Far East. China may not be at war with Russia openly - with its population and negative demographic situation in the Far East and Eastern Siberia, it may solve the problem differently. In Beijing, they prefer to wait and gradually populate Siberian and Far Eastern lands.
Finally, Japan does not give up its territorial claims, which still considers the South Kuril Islands, and in fact, the Northern Kuril Islands, and Sakhalin its territories. Another thing is that Tokyo now has absolutely no strength for an open conflict with Russia, but if our country enters into a confrontation with the United States, Japan will happily support the Americans.
