Without access to the Dnieper, the problem of water supply to Donbass cannot be solved

A special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine has been going on for almost half a year. And all this time, the Donbass, for the sake of whose protection the NWO was formally started, is not only under incessant shelling, but also remains without water. The water supply of the DPR and LPR is, as before for Crimea, the most painful issue for them, which will ultimately force the extension of the special operation to the Dnieper itself.

Only a heartless person could not call the situation in Donbas a humanitarian catastrophe. With heat over 35 degrees Celsius, there has been no water in the capital of the DPR for half a year. Or rather, it is, but there is too little of it. Instead of the required 230 cubic meters of fresh water, no more than 50 are getting into the water supply network of Donetsk. Water is given normally, for several hours and not every day. In different districts and different houses of the city, the situation differs only in severity.

At first, drilling of artesian wells helped, but due to intensive selection, water horizons begin to noticeably deplete. Helping Russia. Everywhere there are tanks where women and grandmothers are allowed to pour water into five-liter containers. The men are mostly mobilized and fighting. They distribute free bottled water. It is delivered to the house only to the elderly and according to the lists of social services. The water of the dirty river Kalmius is suitable for irrigation, and then after cleaning. They learned how to use water from the drainage of mines to cool hot asphalt in the heat and for fire hydrants. The rapid construction of pipelines to several small reservoirs - Olkhovsky, Khanzhonkovsky and Zuevsky, which had not previously been connected to the central system, helped to partially relieve tensions. Their total reserves are estimated for about half a year of active consumption.

This is not just a humanitarian disaster in a region of several million people. This is a real genocide, arranged man-made and quite deliberately. Those “liberal-gifted” Russians who openly or secretly support Ukraine should know that it was Kyiv that arranged the “water genocide” of the DNR and LNR, and he had planned to do this since 2014, but the loss of Mariupol finally untied him.

The DPR and LPR receive water through an artificial power canal of the Seversky Donets-Donbass type. This means that the pumping of water is carried out using special pumps. Water intake is carried out near the city of Slavyansk in the village of Raygorodok, and it ends in the upper pool of the Verkhnekalmiussky reservoir near Donetsk. Below, to the south, to Mariupol, water from the Seversky Donets is carried by the South Donbass water pipeline. That is, Donetsk itself, as well as Makeevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Yenakiyevo, Khartsyzsk, Alchevsk, Anthracite, Bryanka, Krasny Luch, Stakhanov, Pervomaisk and Kirovsk, critically depend on water from the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal.

There is not the slightest doubt that Kyiv would have turned off the water supply to the DPR and LPR right in 2014, as it did with Crimea. However, due to the peculiarities of the region's water transport infrastructure, then Mariupol would also be left without fresh water supplies, which until 2022 was under Ukraine and was the stronghold of the Azov terrorist organization. The fact that the Nazi regime had the corresponding intentions is confirmed by its actions.

Thus, in the Donbass, on the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the construction of a bypass pipeline going south to Mariupol began. In this port city itself, with the help of French specialists, a powerful desalination plant was to be built. Apparently, in case the bypass water supply is interrupted during the hostilities. Zelensky’s criminal regime confirmed the seriousness of its intentions to kill the Donbass without water, literally from the very first days after the start of the Russian special operation, cutting off water supplies through the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. The Nazis from "Azov" (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) still stubbornly resisted, but Mariupol had already been left by Kyiv without fresh water supplies. They immediately gave up on the city, realizing that it was guaranteed to be lost.

Unfortunately, even after almost six months, it cannot be said that the problem of “dehydration” of Donbass has been resolved. The keys to the resumption of supplies lie near Slavyansk, and the Slavyansko-Kramatorsk agglomeration still needs to be reached. The difficulty lies in the fact that almost the entire Donbass is a dense building, where one settlement gradually develops into another. This is just an ideal place for defense and the transformation of its cities and numerous settlements into a continuous layered fortified area. Yes, as a result, the DPR and LPR will still be liberated, the brutal shelling of Donetsk by artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the squares from Avdiivka, Pesok and Marinka will stop. But, alas, this does not automatically mean solving the main problem of Donbass with water.

The fact is that in the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which runs through the bare steppe, water is also taken not from nowhere, but from the Dnieper, which is located far to the west. In order to connect the two rivers, during the Soviet period, the Dnieper-Donbass canal was built, originating in the Kamensky reservoir on the Dnieper. Water flows through it through the Dnepropetrovsk and Poltava regions, then through the Kharkov region, and only then feeds the Seversky Donets River.

And now the question for filling: will the Ukrainian Nazis, who are not shy about shelling the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, block the Dnieper-Donbass channel after the RF Armed Forces and the People's Militia complete the liberation of the DPR and LPR?

Will. The situation will return to where it all started in February 2022, but will be aggravated by the impending winter. I would like to hope that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has already worked out a plan for the further rapid liberation of the Left Bank of Ukraine, without which the entire effect of knocking out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Donbass will practically be nullified.

According to the results of military operations for 7 months, the RF Armed Forces did not show the ability to successfully conduct such large-scale operations. Maybe at the end of autumn Slavyansk and Kramatorsk will be squeezed, but not a fact. Further, no less powerful and layered defense of Dnepropetrovsk has already been created. I doubt that the RF Armed Forces are able to crack it. There can be no talk of storming the regional center itself. Again, there are no forces and the destroyed Mariupol is already hanging on the neck of the RF budget. The restoration of a city similar to Dnepropetrovsk in the Russian Federation simply will not pull. So whatever one may say, by the end of the year you will have to moderate your ambitions and negotiate, unless, of course, Kyiv shows goodwill towards this))

      Oh, how scary!
In the Soviet period: industrial-agrarian Ukraine "fed" the entire USSR.
To please the West: "democrats" have destroyed its competitive economic potential.
If it is recreated, this is ... the Russian Federation will sit on the neck of Ukraine!

At the moment, Russia exports cereals and some types of meat. And in the Soviet period, Ukraine did not feed the entire USSR. For this, the USSR supplied Ukraine with timber, gas, oil and many other goods.

In fact, the word "fed" is in quotation marks.
However, in relation to the population: Ukraine was the most developed republic of the Union.
And its potential can be recreated!

Decisions on the implementation of NWO in Ukraine are made by the Kremlin. It all depends on the "elite", if it is driven into a hopeless situation, then Ukraine will disappear as a state, if the "elite" is allowed to live, as before, at home in NATO countries, and make money in the Russian Federation, then there will be a gesture of goodwill and Nazi Ukraine will be part of NATO. Who cares about water?

Well, what kind of problem is that? From Vasilievka, which is on the Kakhavka reservoir, to Mariupol is about 200 km. that a pipeline with Dnieper water cannot be built and run through the canal in the opposite direction? All issues with water are solvable.

“Somehow the numerous television and telegram threats were forgotten, the essence of which was that “hit the Crimea - we will destroy the decision-making centers.” Some even promised Ukraine a "Judgment Day". As a result, explosions rumble in the Crimea, but no one talks about the answer.

I personally don't like the situation. Official comments are about "detonation" and "ignition". How long such “battles with cigarette butts” will continue at military facilities is unknown. Are we afraid to call what is happening by its proper name? In the meantime, saboteurs are being caught in Crimea and trains are being stopped in the very center of the peninsula due to the detonation of ammunition. <...> If this is true, if today's explosions in Mayskoye and the recent events in Novofedorovka are really the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or saboteurs supervised by Kyiv, then this can and should be discussed.

The loss of warehouses in a war with a smart and well-equipped enemy, behind whose back the entire West is not something to be ashamed of, denying with all your might. In this situation, it is, oddly enough, possible, and such losses are acceptable. But then the question arises of verbal threats, which cause more and more irritation, acquiring an openly mocking look. And here, too, you need to choose - either we implement them, or we stop repeating them at every opportunity. ” Y. Kitten

    In the meantime:

    15.00 FSB RF:

“On the fourth, ninth and twelfth of August, in the Kurchatov district of the Kursk region, Ukrainian sabotage groups blew up six towers of high-voltage power lines (110, 330 and 750 kV), through which the Kursk NPP supplies energy to industrial facilities, transport, life support, social infrastructure and the population as a region and neighboring regions of the country. The sabotage led to a violation of the technological process of the operation of the nuclear power plant. So far, no one has been detained, the security of nuclear facilities has been strengthened.”

this is not Zaporozhye, this is central Russia.

13.30 Kommersant, citing its own sources:
Above the military airbase in the Crimean village of Gvardeyskoye are clouds of black smoke. According to eyewitnesses, several explosions sounded on the territory of the military facility. Military departments and law enforcement agencies are checking the version with a small unmanned aerial vehicle attack on an ammunition depot. Officially, the situation has not yet been commented on.

13.00 Russian Ministry of Defense on morning explosions near Dzhankoy:
“On the morning of August 16, as a result of sabotage, a military warehouse was damaged. Damage was caused to a number of civilian facilities, including power lines, power plants, railways and residential buildings.

09.15 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation:
“In the morning, in the Mayskoye region in Crimea [Dzhankoysky district], a fire broke out on the territory of a bunded site for temporary storage of ammunition in a military unit. As a result of the fire, the stored ammunition detonated. There are no serious injuries, measures are being taken to extinguish the fire, its causes are being investigated.

and every time ... "bunting sites", "ignition", detonation "....

How heroically the Russian soldiers and officers act with their allies, just as disorganized, helpless and irresponsible "bosses" ...

who else in Russia would solve problems first:

Curious details from last weekend. As social networks write, last Sunday strange characters wandered around the bazaars of Dzhankoy and Bakhchisaray. Most often, an elderly man was seen talking to merchants, claiming that 20 Russian aircraft were allegedly destroyed at the Novofedorovka airbase. Further, as if on a piece of paper, the same speech sounded:

“Ukraine will often shell Crimea, but don’t worry. Military and energy facilities will explode, and civilians will not suffer ...

The bazaar people listened thoughtfully. The provocateurs were not caught, and today's state of emergency near Dzhankoy has made the threat to the Crimean hinterland quite real.

The adult population of the peninsula from among the Tatars and ethnic Ukrainians continue to watch UkrTV from satellite dishes. They sit every evening, as if on a needle. In the Donetsk People's Republic, the construction of a 194-kilometer water conduit from the Don River in the Rostov Region has begun. 1600 specialists from the military-construction complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense are taking part in the construction. There are about 800 pieces of equipment in operation.

The project provides for the laying of two branches of the main pipeline from the mouth of the Don River to the Seversky Donets-Donetsk Canal, the construction of pumping stations, electrical substations and water storage facilities for 10 cubic meters. Now, specialists at the facility are laying road slabs, arranging trenches and pits for tanks.

This is the largest project for the transfer of drinking water to the Donbass, which is experiencing serious difficulties with water supply. The capacity of the conduit will be up to 300 cubic meters of water per day.

Estimated completion of work is April 1st.

Previously, water conduits in the DPR were built near Debaltsevo, in Volnovakha, Rovenki and Dokuchaevsk.
