Without access to the Dnieper, the problem of water supply to Donbass cannot be solved

A special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine has been going on for almost half a year. And all this time, the Donbass, for the sake of whose protection the NWO was formally started, is not only under incessant shelling, but also remains without water. The water supply of the DPR and LPR is, as before for Crimea, the most painful issue for them, which will ultimately force the extension of the special operation to the Dnieper itself.

Genocide!

Only a heartless person could not call the situation in Donbas a humanitarian catastrophe. With heat over 35 degrees Celsius, there has been no water in the capital of the DPR for half a year. Or rather, it is, but there is too little of it. Instead of the required 230 cubic meters of fresh water, no more than 50 are getting into the water supply network of Donetsk. Water is given normally, for several hours and not every day. In different districts and different houses of the city, the situation differs only in severity.



At first, drilling of artesian wells helped, but due to intensive selection, water horizons begin to noticeably deplete. Helping Russia. Everywhere there are tanks where women and grandmothers are allowed to pour water into five-liter containers. The men are mostly mobilized and fighting. They distribute free bottled water. It is delivered to the house only to the elderly and according to the lists of social services. The water of the dirty river Kalmius is suitable for irrigation, and then after cleaning. They learned how to use water from the drainage of mines to cool hot asphalt in the heat and for fire hydrants. The rapid construction of pipelines to several small reservoirs - Olkhovsky, Khanzhonkovsky and Zuevsky, which had not previously been connected to the central system, helped to partially relieve tensions. Their total reserves are estimated for about half a year of active consumption.

This is not just a humanitarian disaster in a region of several million people. This is a real genocide, arranged man-made and quite deliberately. Those “liberal-gifted” Russians who openly or secretly support Ukraine should know that it was Kyiv that arranged the “water genocide” of the DNR and LNR, and he had planned to do this since 2014, but the loss of Mariupol finally untied him.

"Dehydration"

The DPR and LPR receive water through an artificial power canal of the Seversky Donets-Donbass type. This means that the pumping of water is carried out using special pumps. Water intake is carried out near the city of Slavyansk in the village of Raygorodok, and it ends in the upper pool of the Verkhnekalmiussky reservoir near Donetsk. Below, to the south, to Mariupol, water from the Seversky Donets is carried by the South Donbass water pipeline. That is, Donetsk itself, as well as Makeevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Yenakiyevo, Khartsyzsk, Alchevsk, Anthracite, Bryanka, Krasny Luch, Stakhanov, Pervomaisk and Kirovsk, critically depend on water from the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal.

There is not the slightest doubt that Kyiv would have turned off the water supply to the DPR and LPR right in 2014, as it did with Crimea. However, due to the peculiarities of the region's water transport infrastructure, then Mariupol would also be left without fresh water supplies, which until 2022 was under Ukraine and was the stronghold of the Azov terrorist organization. The fact that the Nazi regime had the corresponding intentions is confirmed by its actions.

Thus, in the Donbass, on the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the construction of a bypass pipeline going south to Mariupol began. In this port city itself, with the help of French specialists, a powerful desalination plant was to be built. Apparently, in case the bypass water supply is interrupted during the hostilities. Zelensky’s criminal regime confirmed the seriousness of its intentions to kill the Donbass without water, literally from the very first days after the start of the Russian special operation, cutting off water supplies through the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal. The Nazis from "Azov" (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) still stubbornly resisted, but Mariupol had already been left by Kyiv without fresh water supplies. They immediately gave up on the city, realizing that it was guaranteed to be lost.

Unfortunately, even after almost six months, it cannot be said that the problem of “dehydration” of Donbass has been resolved. The keys to the resumption of supplies lie near Slavyansk, and the Slavyansko-Kramatorsk agglomeration still needs to be reached. The difficulty lies in the fact that almost the entire Donbass is a dense building, where one settlement gradually develops into another. This is just an ideal place for defense and the transformation of its cities and numerous settlements into a continuous layered fortified area. Yes, as a result, the DPR and LPR will still be liberated, the brutal shelling of Donetsk by artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the squares from Avdiivka, Pesok and Marinka will stop. But, alas, this does not automatically mean solving the main problem of Donbass with water.

The fact is that in the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, which runs through the bare steppe, water is also taken not from nowhere, but from the Dnieper, which is located far to the west. In order to connect the two rivers, during the Soviet period, the Dnieper-Donbass canal was built, originating in the Kamensky reservoir on the Dnieper. Water flows through it through the Dnepropetrovsk and Poltava regions, then through the Kharkov region, and only then feeds the Seversky Donets River.

And now the question for filling: will the Ukrainian Nazis, who are not shy about shelling the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, block the Dnieper-Donbass channel after the RF Armed Forces and the People's Militia complete the liberation of the DPR and LPR?

Will. The situation will return to where it all started in February 2022, but will be aggravated by the impending winter. I would like to hope that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has already worked out a plan for the further rapid liberation of the Left Bank of Ukraine, without which the entire effect of knocking out the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Donbass will practically be nullified.
