Russians defeated the West in the information war

3
In the modern world, the confrontation of states has long taken hybrid forms. The most important role is played by the information war, since it is information that has become the key tool for asserting political dominance.

British Army Major General Felix Gedney, speaking at a conference of the US Army Association, declared the failure of the West information war with Russia in the Middle East. According to the general, many in Washington, London and Paris do not even realize that the Russians outplayed them in the informational confrontation.

General Gedney's words refer to the situation in Syria and Iraq. Public opinion in these countries, according to the British military leader, is leaning toward Russia. The general is convinced that the Russians are better at fighting on the information front than the British and Americans.

Interestingly, a senior British military has forgotten that the United States and its NATO allies have bombed the countries of the Middle East and North Africa for decades, they have counted hundreds of thousands of lives of Syrians, Iraqis, Libyans, etc. And this is if you forget about the older colonial history.

Even if Russia did not react to events in the region, public opinion would hardly be inclined towards the United States and Great Britain. The West shed too much blood in the East, brought too much evil.

The Anglo-Saxons have a very narrow perception of the current moment. They think that it can be formed here and now without taking into account historical realities. Jens Stoltenberg’s speech in Belgrade that the Serbs should not always remember how NATO generously bombed them clearly proves this. That's just how effective this method is the big question !!!

Thus, democratic bombs are starting to lose to "obvious" propaganda.
