Near Donetsk killed 18 management officers and commanders of the 56th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

It became known that 18 officers (commanders) of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Mariupol Brigade (56th Motorized Rifle Brigade, military unit A0989, B2095) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas were killed during a special operation by Russia in Ukraine. On the evening of July 27, the WELDERS Telegram channel informed the public about this, citing its sources.

The report clarifies that the strike on the command post of this tactical formation of the Ground Forces of Ukraine was inflicted by aviation weapons from Russian aircraft.

We remind you that in the first half of May, the Investigative Committee of Russia announced the establishment of the data of Ukrainian commanders who gave orders for massive artillery and mortar shelling of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and Dokuchaevsk on the 6th-7th. They turned out to be: the commander of the 56th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Sergei Sirchenko and his deputy Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Gerasimenko.

Note that on July 28, in its report for the past day, the RF Ministry of Defense did not mention the 56th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at all. However, the Russian military department can report such information even a few days after all the details have been established. In addition, Moscow has repeatedly made it clear that it will not stop the NMD until its troops have fully completed all the assigned tasks.
