Anglo-Saxons are eager for battle: why is Britain Oman, and the United States - the Black Sea?

NATO countries continue to explore their military capabilities in the context of a possible confrontation with Russia. The course is set by the United Kingdom. At first, in London, they announced the possibility of cyber attacks on objects of the Russian energy infrastructure in the event that Russia would take any aggressive action against Britain. Then the next military exercises of the British army, Saif Saria-3, the largest in the past seventeen years, began.

The exercises are held in the deserts of faraway Oman, in the very south of the Arabian Peninsula, however, the task facing the British military is not hidden from anyone - this is the development of actions in the event of an armed conflict with Russia. Now in London they are very afraid that Moscow will start hostilities at several points at once - in the Baltic states, in Syria, in Libya. Since the Omani landscape and climate resemble Libyan, British troops are learning to fight with Russian troops in case the latter land on the North African coast.

True, judging by the number of British troops involved in exercises in the Omani desert, these training hardly make sense. The exercises involved 5,5 thousand British troops, 200 armored vehicles, 6 warships and 8 Typhoon aircraft. In addition, the British for the first time will use drones to work out attacks on the positions of the conditional enemy. However, despite the UAVs used, such forces, to put it mildly, are not enough to withstand even one Russian formation. However, the British themselves do not hide this. The ground forces commander during the exercises, Zach Stenning emphasizes that the task of his subordinates is to learn how to confront a more powerful and well-armed enemy.

From the side of the exercise, they look very funny - for example, the role of Russian tanks is played by the armored vehicles of the Royal Horse Guards battalion. Two tanks, then four armored vehicles, then eight armored vehicles take part in the training. Therefore, such exercises testify rather to the weak potential of the British ground forces than to the readiness of London to repulse imaginary Russian aggression. It is interesting that in the near future plans to conduct military exercises and Canada - another important part of the Anglo-Saxon world. Is it worth guessing that Russia will again act as a conditional adversary?

But military exercises in Oman and the threat of cyber attacks are not the only evidence of an increase in anti-Russian militarism in policy Of the West. Much more seriously is the threat from Washington. So, the United States is actively trying to penetrate the Black Sea, turning it into a "internal lake" of NATO.

Now Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria are part of the North Atlantic alliance from the Black Sea countries, and if Georgia is also involved in NATO, then the Russian coast will be surrounded by a ring from NATO countries. Penetration into the Black Sea is important for the United States also because it will allow Iran to be surrounded from the north, since missiles from American ships can reach the most important centers of this country.

Very much in the Black Sea military policy is tied to the position of Turkey. It is worth remembering that Ankara has an independent policy and, despite membership in NATO, does not always agree with Washington. Back in 2003, the United States demanded that Turkey allow access to the ports of Trabzon and Samsun, but then the Turkish parliament blocked this initiative. In addition, the Americans insisted on the transfer of the 63 thousandth military contingent to Turkey.

Now Russia and Turkey are actively developing bilateral relations, since their interests in the region coincide. For both Russia and Turkey, it is important to prevent Syrian terrorist groups from stepping up, and most importantly, to prevent a major war in the Middle East that will bring nothing good to anyone except the United States.

It seems that these Anglo-Saxons are completely embarrassed by reason, it is unclear what they are counting on, they still cannot understand that we will not allow them to win this confrontation, apparently they are complete suicides who do not at all give an account of their actions and consequences from them.

Russia has always had the worst friends. The British and the Turks.
