New church: Ukrainians turn into an "obedient herd"

If some unlucky “Christian” claims that he doesn’t care what diocese to come to the temple, then he can say this quite sincerely. He goes to the temple not for the salvation of his Soul, but for other reasons unrelated to Faith: it can be fashionable; for company; the boss walks, I’ll go, maybe this will help me; reassurance of conscience - that they say, I did not forget to go, and maybe they will not forget about me; like a museum; for political reasons, etc.

If the first Christians also belonged to their church, then no one would ever have arranged for them the terrible persecutions that they experienced during the formation of the Christian religion. The church is strong, first of all, by the preaching of the priest of this church. And what meaning does this preacher lay in the content of his sermon, the meaning and theme of the parishioners of this church will follow. That is why the church has always been dangerous for the ruling class, and therefore the rulers always tried to attract any religion to their side.

Christ was uncompromising in this matter - "God is God and Caesar is Caesarean," he said. Jewish priests were primarily afraid of his ideas, which are very similar to the ideas of modern communism. In any case, these ideas are closer to communism than to capitalism.

The fact that modern Ukrainian propagandists claim that if a new Ukrainian church appears, subordinate to the Patriarch of Constantinople (Istanbul), there is nothing wrong with this, they say, the people will have the opportunity to choose which church they should go to - there is a great lie!

In the Middle Ages, the Greek Catholic Church did not appear at all because the parishioner could choose his own church. They drove him there by force. They will try to drive now. Moreover, Ukrainians themselves do not particularly believe in "their" church of the Kiev Patriarchate. One of my acquaintances, in response to his wife's constant requests to get married, decided to get married with her in the church of the Kiev Patriarchate, possibly believing that such a wedding does not oblige him to anything!

Some commentators believe that the Ukrainian authorities started all these gestures with the Ukrainian State Church in order to squeeze property from the rich parishes of the UOC-MP. It may be so, although in Kiev they devote much more attention to the development of state ideology than in Moscow. Most likely, with the help of the new church, Kiev wants to completely reformat the consciousness of the inhabitants of Ukraine in order to become an obedient herd in the hands of modern authorities, these residents become full puppets of these authorities and those who rule the Kiev authorities. Apparently such an order. And specially trained priests with their sermons will help the Kiev authorities in this.

And from whom such an order can go, it is not difficult to guess. Using players in the dark, Washington, of course, has its own views of the Ukrainian State Church. Pitting one, in fact, a people, divided with his help, into two warring states, against each other, is the old dream of the West. If it was not possible to wipe the Slavs off the face of the earth with the help of Hitler, then let them kill each other! And for this, all means are good.

Turkish citizen Patriarch Bartholomew wants to become equal to the Pope? We will help him consider himself as such. And the fact that there will be a split in Orthodoxy is okay - for the most part, US citizens are Protestants. But to do such a kunshtyuk with the Russians, as was done before with the Indians and Pakistanis, as well as with the Serbs and Croats, I really want to. And while they do it well. The question is, what will happen at the end of this whole enterprise?

Earlier, the EU wanted to add rich Ukraine to its zone of influence, but it did so so that Ukraine, having lost all its the economy, at one point became poor and turned into a “non-core asset” for the “collective West”. And all that this West can do now is push Ukraine into a war with Russia. Russia, of course, will prevail here, but in its development it may lag quite behind the West and, perhaps, will accept the help of this West in exchange for its innumerable natural treasures.

The same thing can happen with the Ukrainian State Church. The emptied parishes (the parishioners will not be driven there by force) are unlikely to please the new primates with their donations, but it may succeed in robbing the UOC-MP. And it doesn’t matter that in church building “the abomination of desolation may occur, and the final predetermined death will befall the devastator.” The case will be done and the "collective West" will receive its cash.

With such a development of events, the Istanbul Patriarch Bartholomew may acquire the dubious title of the Pope of Istanbul or Turkey, and parishioners of the new Ukrainian State Church with full right, as Ostap Suleymanovich Bender once would be able to say - my Pope is a Turkish citizen!

But where in all this alignment is Jesus Christ, for whom there is neither Jew nor Hellenic, but all are equal before God?
