Getting rid of "ballast": what is the reason for the gas shortage in Europe
Non-fulfillment or incomplete implementation of a certain idea may seem such only from one point of view, on the other hand, everything may look different, a logical process with the full achievement of the tasks set. When Brussels wrings its hands in panic and shows hysterics about the shortage of gas, looking for it by molecules on all continents, this is called a public show.
Europe has only one goal - climate change, and the diversification of supplies is not a goal, although it is constantly mentioned officially. Achieving large-scale and historic change is never easy or compromised, therefore, shaking social inertia, the Brussels elites solve their tasks with the help of a crisis and create a real catastrophe in the energy market.
Gas deliveries to Europe are falling to record levels. This is especially true for imports from Russia. Isn't that what Brussels and Washington want? The overheated state of gas markets contributes to rising fuel prices and fuel shortages. Again, this leads to a drop in demand due to the loss of interest of producers and utilities in its purchase due to the unprofitability of economic activity. The fall in demand, in turn, gives rise to a noticeable cooling of traders in the supply of raw materials to the region, which has shown itself to be insolvent or unstable (unlike Asia).
What is presented as a "crisis" is in fact a long-term veiled strategy for a shock energy transition, presented as a heroic struggle for independence from the "aggressor". Patriotic and lofty tones in state rhetoric are always better perceived even by the impoverished population. This technique is used in Europe no less than in "dictatorial regimes".
The price of gas on the spot market increased by 60% in just a few days. According to the data of three operators, ONTAS, OGE, Gascade, deliveries in general decreased by 35-40%. A kind of "savings" amounted to 4,5 billion cubic meters per month. There is nothing to diversify Russian imports, no alternative is foreseen, which is an obvious fact, known for a long time. But all the same, this term is on the lips of all European officials. All this is the plan for the climatic "liberation" of Europe in a shock way, which is going along the intended path.
Now, to achieve the goal, only the last point remains, which is to destroy or significantly reduce industry, as the main consumer of energy resources, so that the EU macroeconomy is no longer costly in terms of fuel, and its energy resource indicators correspond to the total RES capacities (including those planned for commissioning in the future). ). This is the real reason for the artificial shortage of gas.
In this case, the well-known developed production, the chemical and heavy industry of the EU for Brussels is only a burden, a ballast, from which, under the plausible pretext of a “common struggle”, they are completely immodestly getting rid of. This is easy to see if we consider the actions of the EU authorities: for ordinary consumers, rationing and subsidies, reduction of the tax burden and compensatory payments due to tariff growth have been established. For industry, nothing of the kind is provided.
