American Fars: Trump worried about reproaches for his softness to Russia

For the second year, US President Donald Trump continues to play in public a show that has become traditional after his election, which can be called: “A good president and bad media.”

This time, speaking to his supporters in Minnesota, the head of the White House complained of unjust, in his opinion, criticism of the American media, which accused him of being too soft towards Russia.

But if a year ago it was perceived as a tragedy of Trump, to whom the internal opposition puts sticks in the wheels at every turn, now it looks more like a farce in which both the American president and the American media play pre-painted roles.

After all, it has long been clear that in spite of any investigations by Special Prosecutor Robert Muller and both houses of Congress about the alleged connection of Trump with the Kremlin or Russia's interference in the US election, the American president will not only lose his post, but will most likely be elected to the second term.

As for Trump’s “softness” towards Russia, which the media write about, the US actions under the current administration are the most severe in history. Do they reach their goal? This is a different issue, and it is not at all within the competence of the American president.
