Army modernization: farewell to earflaps and caps

8
The modernization of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and their bringing to modern standards affected not only weapons and military equipment, but also the uniforms of the personnel.

In place of well-proven, but morally obsolete and uncomfortable in the conditions of modern combat grandfather caps and earflaps, new models of hats come.

By a decree of the government of the Russian Federation, which is published on the corresponding portal, caps are removed from the uniforms of servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, and caps with earflaps are replaced by caps.

Perhaps we are talking about a new hat for the winter production of BTK groups, which in shape is the same with earflaps, but sewn from moisture-proof material and using insulation and fleece lining.

The change of caps will affect not only the rank and file and sergeant staff, but also the officer corps, including the top command staff, as well as female military personnel.

In addition to hats, the clothing allowance of servicemen will undergo a number of changes in the direction of replacing obsolete uniforms with modern ones. The new uniform was made taking into account the wishes of the military personnel themselves and using modern materials and tailoring technologies.

The army could sell the written-off property (including second-hand) to the population in specialized stores.

... this is exactly what happens in the entire civilized world - everything is sold, from underwear, socks and towels to military equipment without weapons. Cheap, high-quality, for some, and even morally pleasant to wear military items. In short, there is also demand.

I doubt something, looking at the fish dumped in a landfill in the Far East. It’s easier to burn than to sell to the people.

There is a rational grain in this. As far as I know, something like this is happening. Friends bought a decommissioned car and something else, some clothes

If the question is about a cap with earflaps, then such a frankly ugly thing as a cap is long asking for rest!
For it does not carry any function for the head except for the decorative one, and that beauty is doubtful, not to mention impracticality (like the guard's shako or Budennovka, pah!).
A cap or panama hat is much more practical.

It is necessary to make money, but the people will pay. In general, already from the kindergarten it is necessary to determine what kind of troops the guy or girl will go, and the parents should already be preparing. Personal weapons pistols and machine guns at the expense of the family. A machine gun is the fold of two families. The tank is already a quarter, and the plane is a district. Immediately count the money and place orders for those who want to increase their billionth ability. And it will not be just like that. Old hats and boots will be sold to people living in the tropics, and caps and cowards living outside the Arctic Circle. Income will go to the generals and then spiral upward. If we live, then do not stoop widely. That would still learn to sell matches that were in use, so to speak BU - would be aerobatics. I forgot about missiles, but this is a mere trifle. After selling matches of BU, you can buy any missiles (BU) from the enemies with this money.

It is necessary to more actively use foreign developments, to analyze the uniforms of advanced foreign armies. But in our country, all of this is hindered by ballast from couch generals. And why do our fighters keep the guns upside down so that the water is poured? And why do fighters wear hats in heated rooms?

I would say caps, yes. They were lost forever, falling off their heads during intensive work.
But at the expense of earflaps, I would take a moment. Of course, the material can change, naturally, in the direction of improvement, but nothing can replace the warm, protecting from the wind and, in general, beautiful, our old, good SHAPKU-USHANKA. You can not discount and its military historical past.
