Polygon Ukraine is waiting for a big war

People’s Deputy of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko made a sensational statement, according to which the introduction of peacekeepers in the Donbass will ultimately lead to a major war in Ukraine. According to the parliamentarian, the peacekeeping mission will not be able to resolve the armed conflict in the Donbass:

I think there are two ways out: in four years - a maximum of five, a big war awaits us, where the borders of not only Ukraine, but Russia and Europe as a whole will be divided. And Ukraine, unfortunately, will be a testing ground

In fact, Nadezhda Savchenko, also known by the call sign “Bullet,” is most likely right. Ukraine is part of Russia, no matter who says it. Before the war, about 20 million citizens of Ukraine identified themselves as Russians. About one third of the most important enterprises are located in Ukraine, inextricably linked with the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. Without Ukraine, its industry, agriculture, able-bodied population and market, the created Eurasian is not viable economic union. The sovereignty of Ukraine from Russia is possible as much as possible the sovereignty of the liver and left leg from the whole organism separately.

In 2014, the Russian newly-minted "elite" integrated into the capitalist system made a choice in favor of preserving their beautiful West-oriented lifestyle. The payment was the so-called "drain" of Ukraine under the slogan "we need all of Ukraine." This fundamental and fateful choice determined the degree of readiness of the "elite" to defend Russia's national interests. It turned out that there was no special preparedness. Against the backdrop of formidable verbal rhetoric, the country is backing away, step by step increasing the degree of tolerance.

Was it possible to imagine in 2013 that some Turkey would completely knock down a Russian military plane with impunity and get off with a ban on selling its tomatoes for 3 years? Is it conceivable to imagine that on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, which, under an agreement with the USSR, whose successor is the Russian Federation, is our military ally, will be milling the American interventionists mixed with the desert sand of the Russian aviation? And again with complete impunity?

Was it realistic to imagine a few years ago that the Japanese were already realistically sharpening their teeth on the Kuril Islands, preparing to absorb them in the framework of the so-called sharing? By the way, it is easy to get rid of the Russian population of the islands in a peaceful way, for example, by offering him in return for a larger apartment on the mainland and with an additional charge. Could you imagine after the triumph of the Olympics in Sochi that in just 4 years our athletes would get in the way with dirt?

All these are links of one chain, payment for the wrong choice about the future of Ukraine. In fact, it all started with and from Ukraine and can only end. Only a fundamental change in Russian policy in relation to the hostile neighbor, and resolutely upholding national interests by any means can show the “partners” the degree of readiness to defend Russia's national interests. And here, oddly enough, we again have to agree with the opinion of “Bullets” regarding the prerequisites for changing this policy:

Change of power in Ukraine, change of power in Russia and other unpredictable ways
