How global warming will hit the US and help Russia

The climate of the Earth is changing right before our eyes, and these changes will transform the face of the planet and the way of life of the billions of people who inhabit it. Many computer models of climate change indicate that the critical "point of no return" will be a temperature increase of one and a half degrees Celsius.

In 2015, the Climate Agreement was adopted in Paris to curb change. It was approved by the authorities of 195 countries. The bottom line was this: the states that signed the Paris Agreement pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions leading to global warming, as well as allocate funds to a fund to help poor countries deal with the effects of climate change. Also, the climate fund was supposed to stimulate the transition to renewable energy sources.

The task set in Paris is to prevent further warming of the atmosphere by one and a half degrees. To help developing countries move towards the economynot based on the burning of hydrocarbon fuels, developed countries pledged to jointly allocate about $ 100 billion a year for these purposes. It should be noted that not all provisions of the Agreement are binding on its participants: each country can independently determine its own strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Despite this, in 2017, President Trump pulled the United States out of the Climate Agreement. He substantiated his decisions by the fact that the United States of America, as part of its commitments, would suffer damage to the national economy in the form of a loss of 2,7 million jobs. And by 2040, according to Donald Trump, the country could lose about three trillion dollars.

Today, American scientists from the University of California at the city of San Diego have come to the conclusion that the attitude of the American president to climate warming will cost the United States even more. Their study showed that the increase in temperature on the planet will affect the United States of America most of all. Together with them, Mexico, India, China and Brazil entered the risk group. These countries will be affected by heat, drought, sea level rise with the flooding of large territories, as well as the rampant nature. According to the most conservative estimates, the damage from climate change per year will cost the US economy a quarter trillion dollars, and it will only increase.

According to researchers, Russia, by contrast, can benefit from a general increase in temperature on Earth. This will increase productivity and reduce government spending on heating. Together with Russia, Northern Europe and Canada will be lucky.

And the United States will pollute its lands with shale oil production. Russia's task is to prevent the development of shale mining not only at home, but also in Ukraine.

    - Yes, not the US climate should "worry" Russia ... - it is overseas ...
-But what will happen if a cataclysm covers China ... -Who and how to contain tens of millions of hungry people on the borders of Russia ..?
