Volvo showed a fantastic truck of the future "in the iron"

This is a fully self-driving tractor; cabs are not provided for in principle. Management will be carried out exclusively by autopilot, which will determine the situation on the road in real time and make decisions independently.



All Volvo robomobiles are integrated into the cloud service, which will track all the parameters of each transport flight: the contents and safety of the cargo, tractor battery, distance to the destination, and more. This will allow carriers to debug the most efficient logistics in the future, optimizing costs. Vera tractors are fully electric, the noise and environmental damage caused by their use will tend to zero.

It is worth noting that Volvo Trucks robomobiles are unified with models of existing trailers. They can be used automatically for regular flights to logistics centers.
