As a result, the carrier group, instead of basking now off the coast of the Red Sea, is “freezing” its asses in the “cold” waters of the Ionian Sea somewhere between Greece and Italy in the area of ​​​​responsibility of the 6th Fleet of the US Navy. In addition to the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, the group includes the guided missile cruiser USS San Jacinto, the destroyers USS Bainbridge, USS Cole, USS Gravely, USS Jason Dunham, and the Norwegian frigate Fridtjof.

In the same place in the SPM, in addition to the above-mentioned AUG, there were two more Allied AUGs, one French, led by the aircraft carrier R-91 Charles de Gaulle, and another Italian, led by the flagship of the Italian Navy, the aircraft carrier S-550 Cavour. All of them gathered there to participate in the Clemenceau-2022 mission. The order of the French flagship includes the Horizon-class destroyer D-620 Forbin, two FREMM-class frigates D-656 Alsace and D-651 Normandie, the Durance-class support vessel Marne (sea tanker) and an unnamed multi-purpose nuclear submarine ( MPLATRK) of the Rubis type. At various stages of the mission, the Charles de Gaulle will be joined by the American destroyer DDG-71 USS Ross of the Arleigh Burke class, the Spanish frigate F-102 Almirante Juan de Borbón of the Alvaro de Bazan class, as well as the Greek submarine and frigate of the Ellie class. . During the exercise, the French sailors will work out interaction with the 5th generation F-35B fighters and E-2D Advanced Hawkeye AWACS carrier-based aircraft. In addition, as the command of the French Navy noted, one of the frigates accompanying the aircraft carrier, as well as several fighters, will be sent to the Black Sea region due to the growing tension (I immediately have a question: what did they forget there?!).

And this is not counting the ships of the 6th Mediterranean Fleet of the US Navy, based in Naples, Gaeta, La Madallena, La Spezia, Taranto, Brindisi, Augusto and Rota with the flagship landing / combined command ship LCC-20 USS Mount Whitney. In addition to the flagship, the 6th Fleet on a rotational basis constantly includes 1-2 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers with a joint air wing of 175 aircraft, 4 Ticonderoga-class missile cruisers, 15 Arleigh Burke-class URO destroyers, 5 Wasp-class amphibious assault ships , 4 Virginia-class nuclear submarines, not counting support vessels, tankers, tugs, rescue, auxiliary and other vessels. If necessary, this entire armada of aircraft from aircraft carriers will easily and naturally move to NATO air force ground bases in Turkey, Italy and Greece, from where they can nightmare the entire territory of Ukraine on the “long arm” principle, using navigation and the entire maritime infrastructure of the fleet. It is worth noting that it is the 6th Fleet that is responsible for the ground component of the American missile defense systems deployed in Europe. The ships are equipped with the Aegis combat multifunctional information and control system integrated into the missile defense structure, thanks to which they are able to significantly reduce the power of retaliatory missile strikes from Russia. The Americans have already demonstrated the effectiveness of this system when, in February 2008, they shot down their old reconnaissance satellite weighing 5 tons at an altitude of almost 250 km.

Agree that the water area of ​​the NPM is simply teeming with NATO ships, which, on the eve of future events in Ukraine, do not at all inspire us with optimism. In order to neutralize this threat for the first time in the history of the USSR and the Russian Federation, an unprecedented power grouping of the Russian Navy was assembled in the SPM, which includes three project 1164 Atlant missile cruisers, nicknamed "aircraft carrier killers", two of which are the flagships of their fleets (RK "Moscow" - Black Sea Fleet, RK "Varyag" - Pacific Fleet, and RK "Marshal Ustinov" is simply inferior in this indicator to the flagship of the Northern Fleet TARK "Peter the Great", which remained on the basis of the Northern Fleet); two large anti-submarine ships - BOD "Admiral Kulakov" (SF) and BOD "Admiral Tributs" (TOF), both projects 1155, and four URO frigates - a heavy frigate of project 22350 "Admiral Kasatonov" (SF) and three light frigates with the Admiral's Black Sea Fleet series of project 11356R - "Admiral Grigorovich", "Admiral Makarov" and "Admiral Essen". The missile cruisers are equipped with the most powerful P-1000 Vulkan anti-ship missiles (16 launchers each), the rest of the ships of the group are also carriers of missile weapons, including subsonic winged Caliber, supersonic Onyx anti-ship missiles and hypersonic winged Zircons. Two air defense / anti-aircraft defense corvettes of project 20380 "Resistant" and "Savvy" (now passing Gibraltar) are also going there from the Baltic, also armed to the very teeth with anti-submarine torpedo and missile anti-ship and anti-aircraft weapons (the most armed ships in their class). In addition, on February 15, two Tu-22M3 strategic long-range bombers with X-22 supersonic cruise anti-ship missiles on board and a flight of MiG-31K high-altitude all-weather long-range fighter-interceptors equipped with hypersonic aviation systems "Dagger" (one more, this time hypersonic "aircraft carrier killers").

The armada of NATO ships loitering in the SPM immediately felt uncomfortable. The flagship of the US 6th Fleet LCC-20 USS Mount Whitney immediately fled from there (it’s understandable, there are only two such ships in the US Navy, why substitute it once again?), however, it was immediately replaced by the multi-purpose nuclear submarine SSGN 729 Georgia of the type “ Ohio" with 154 winged "Tomahawks" on board. But in principle, there are enough of our submarines there (six brand new diesel-electric submarines of project 636.3 "Varshavyanka" of the Black Sea Fleet, armed with winged "Caliber"). And their dense subsonic Tomahawks run the risk of becoming easy prey for our S-300s and S-400s deployed around the entire perimeter of Nezalezhnaya (you are welcome, we are waiting for you!).

The second surprise happened when the North Sea squadron led by the Marshal Ustinov missile launcher, as well as the Vice-Admiral Kulakov BOD, the carrier of the hypersonic Zircons, the heavy frigate Admiral Kasatonov, and the medium sea tanker Vyazma accompanying them, which left on 22 January from Severomorsk to conduct pre-scheduled missile firing in the British Isles from February 5 to 8, unexpectedly changed the route and instead of firing in the cold waters of the Irish Sea, suddenly, to the surprise of many, surfaced in full force in the hot waters of the Mediterranean, where even without them to push through there was nowhere. Moreover, in pursuit of them in the direction of Gibraltar, a squadron of the Baltic Fleet, consisting of two air defense / anti-aircraft defense attack corvettes Stoykiy and Soobrazitelny, also rushed towards them.

It is for this reason that we could not pull off our deterrence operation in Syria, for a ground operation we do not have enough logistical and escalation capabilities there. And the effect of it, I think, few of you would be shocked. Well, we would have shaken out the American Rangers from the last province they occupied in Syria, and so what? This will not scare Grandpa Joe. Unpleasant, but not fatal.

For the same reason, the simultaneous strategic exercises of our entire air, sea and land-based nuclear triad, unparalleled in their scale, conducted ahead of schedule on February 19 this year, on which I had such high hopes, could not scare our enemy too much. Therefore, when at a press conference with Scholz he suddenly mentioned the genocide of the people of Donbass, which was unleashed by the Kiev regime, I understood that evidence was being prepared for accusations of crimes against humanity. Therefore, when a terrible explosion thundered on the territory of the LPR on the night of February 19, which local eyewitnesses described as an undermining of the Ukrainian DRG of the Druzhba gas pipeline, I just laughed. The exercises in Belarus ended on February 20, and it was not possible from a purely military point of view to keep people in such weather in unsuitable conditions for this at the training grounds. Those who served in the army will understand this - sitting with wet feet in trenches and dugouts, or in the field at temperatures of 0 ... +/-5 * C is not ice at all. It is necessary either to take them to places of permanent deployment, or into battle. But the Pacific Marines were not transferred from the Far East to Belarus in order to return them back when the task of the decade had not been solved. The trigger for the start of the operation will be the release to the sea of ​​all 12 large landing ships of the Northern, Pacific and Black Sea fleets, now grouped in the Black Sea Fleet base. Each of them takes on board up to 340 Marines, not counting equipment (this is a battalion). In total, we have 12 battalion tactical groups that can land along the entire coast of the Black and Azov Seas, which are now closed to everyone for the duration of the exercises. Near Berdyansk, Mariupol and Kherson, there are just suitable places for this, where the depth does not exceed 3-4 meters, which is necessary so that the BDK can throw back its ramp and land troops. The entire grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is now concentrated near the Donbass. I think the appearance of Russian marines in their rear will be a pleasant surprise for them. It was for this that six large landing ships from the north made their unprecedented transition from the Varangians to the Greeks. When they leave the Black Sea Fleet base, they will have exactly five days to either carry out what I said above, or to nightmare Zelensky even by the fact of their presence in the 12-mile zone and force him to agree to all Putin's conditions. I hope there are no people here who believe that Putin is going to fight with Ukraine. The highest aerobatics to achieve his goal without a single shot (as he did in the Crimea 8 years ago).

Putin's task is to use methods of intimidation to force the leadership of Kiev, which still does not believe that Putin will go on the offensive, and does not want to aggravate itself, to compromise with Moscow. And here we have to use the well-known chess rule, which says that the threat is worse than its execution. In this game, Putin plays white, and he imposes his game on the blacks, for whom Biden plays. The opening has already been played, it remains for White, now the game has moved into the middlegame, the endgame is still far away, but Putin has the initiative, and only he decides which piece to use for the final victory.

And now I'm not talking about the Ukrainian unfortunate army, it is not on the battlefield at all. I'm talking about our existential adversary, sitting across the sea and ocean. At least on land and in strategic arms, we have no equal, but at sea and in the air we are not going to fight with them. And they are going to compete with us on land, with the hands of their Ukrainian wards. But there is one problem - the Ukrainian wards also do not want to die. True, no one asks them about it. They are just pawns for them on this battlefield.

For us, no. For us, Ukraine is a figure, albeit a light one, something like an elephant. Putin's pawns are the same BDKs and missile cruisers that he moves on a conditional chessboard that has become a battlefield for us. There is a very subtle political game going on. The opponents, the USA and the Russian Federation, are not fighting for Ukraine or even for Europe (France and Germany in this game are also just pieces, albeit heavier than Ukraine, something like rooks), the war is for a global redivision of the world. Opponents look to the future with a planning horizon of 30-40-50 years (Ukraine generally has a zero planning horizon, its Kermanychi look only at their feet so as not to fall, but along the way they also try to grab something for themselves, such freaks! ). The states are very reluctant to give up their advantage.
