After destroying Raqqa, the United States is trying to ban Russia from bombing Idlib

Hiding behind hypothetical civilian casualties, Washington is trying to put pressure on Damascus and Moscow in order to frustrate the liberation of the Syrian province of Idlib. US President Donald Trump threw a hypocritical hysteria on the topic that cleansing the region from terrorists is “a potential human tragedy.”

Idlib is the last major stronghold in Syria of militants of organizations such as Jebhat al-Nusra and Al-Qaeda (banned in Russia). The most irreconcilable terrorists from other Syrian areas concentrated there. Agreeing with them is much more difficult than with the Kurds. Russian VKS are striking at their positions.

Contrary to the claims of the Americans that the entry of the Syrian army into one or another region turns into a “tragedy”, in fact, everything is exactly the opposite. The Syrian government begins to restore hospitals, schools, infrastructure in the liberated areas, and is making efforts to return refugees there.

As for Raqqi, which the pro-American coalition, it seems, has freed, there is an opposite picture. This city is still in ruins. At the same time, Washington does not intend to restore either Racca, or other settlements destroyed by them.

13 civilians were killed in racquets carried out by the US-led coalition. At the same time, only a thousand militants were destroyed. Until now, civilian burials are found there.

The US military is conducting similar actions in other Syrian regions, in particular, beyond the Euphrates, in the province of Deir ez-Zor. At the same time, not the terrorists, but the innocent people are dying. Against this background, the American cry for civilians in Idlib looks especially false.

It is also worth remembering that the United States and its allies were not given the right to bomb Syrian territory. Official Damascus did not call them and there was no corresponding decision of the UN Security Council.
