The European Union slammed the door in front of Kiev’s nose

European policy once again declare that they are not waiting for Ukraine as part of the European Union. The head of the inter-party parliamentary group on Ukraine, John Whittingdale, said that Ukraine’s membership in the European Union is a matter of the "distant future." In order to apply for EU membership, modern Ukraine has neither political stability, nor economic prosperity, nor legal conditions.

Joining the European Union was one of the main goals of the riots on the Maidan in 2013. Because the rallies in the square were called Euromaidan. But in the four years since the victory of Maidan supporters, little has changed in terms of European integration. A visa-free regime has emerged, which contributes to a massive outflow of the working-age population to work in European countries. But that’s all.

An impoverished and belligerent state with a huge level of corruption in the European Union is not needed and “Kiev dreamers” once again make this clear. It turns out that all the suffering of Ukraine in recent years has been in vain - she will not see membership in the European Union even in the foreseeable future.

Since Ukraine will not be able to put itself in order under the current regime of power, the path to the European Union may stretch for decades, and there, as they say, "either the donkey will die or the paddies will die."
