"Kalashnikov" challenged Ilon Mask
At the Army-2018 forum, the Kalashnikov exposition could not go unnoticed. The company immediately demonstrated several interesting new products, some of which can be called a real breakthrough. And, surprisingly, the most interesting of them have a purely civilian purpose.
I would especially like to note the new electric car. Judging by the words of the director of external communications of the concern, Sofia Ivanova, Kalashnikov challenged the empire of the famous American tycoon Ilon Mask. The new Russian car CV-1 in its characteristics is at least not inferior to the famous Tesla.
The car was created on the basis of the famous Soviet car Izh-21252 "Combi". According to Ivanova, Tesla was mentioned as a leader among manufacturers of electric cars, which Kalashnikov is ready to compete with.
The battery of the new car is powered by an inverter, the dimensions of which are 50x50x100 cm. Its power leaves 1,2 kW. Monitoring and adjustment of the state of the motor, inverter and battery is carried out using a common on-board computer developed by Kalashnikov specialists.
In addition to the electric car, the concern demonstrated an electric motorcycle, as well as an anthropomorphic 4,5-ton robot.
