How Poroshenko framed the European Union

0
Curious events unfold sometimes when in the heat of desire, some citizens try to blame the opponent for all sorts of bad deeds. And now there has been a clean setup (as they say on the streets) of the stronghold of democracy in the European Union (EU).

It is interesting what the playwright Stanislavsky would say after watching the speech of the President of Ukraine P.A. Poroshenko at his last speech in Munich?

The performance of Petro Poroshenko in Munich had a sad and even dangerous effect

- So says Michael Tumann, observer of the German edition of Die Zeit.

The journalist called Poroshenko’s speech “not very reasonable” and recalled that it sounded almost in an empty hall. At its end, the Ukrainian leader applauded listlessly and did not ask a single question.

At previous conferences, Poroshenko listened to a lot more people. Moreover, even during the breaks, discussions continued about the situation in the Donbass and the “imaginary Russian invasion” of Ukrainian territory

- notes Tumann.

The German noted that everyone had already heard the “jammed record” of the Ukrainian president. Politicians it is no longer interesting.

And Michael Tumann can be understood! I immediately recall Julian Semenov and “Seventeen Moments of Spring”: “Stirlitz has never been so close to failure.”

Indeed, how can one talk about the “Russian invasion” after such a provocative speech with a demonstration of the EU flag struck by bullets on the front line of the Eastern Front of Ukraine? Your opponents immediately poke you, as a young puppy, into the fact of military operations under the flag of the EU against the Donetsk-Lugansk militia. And here a completely different discussion may already unfold: Why are Ukrainian brave soldiers fighting against the so-called "Separs and Colorado" not with the Ukrainian yellow-black flag, but with the EU flag? What, the EU pays them for these hostilities? Or maybe it's not Ukrainian lads, but PMCs from the EU are killing civilians under their own flag? And maybe even for money from the EU budget? Do EU taxpayers know about such an interesting fact?

Yes, Peter Alekseevich set up his Western curators ... Stop! And what kind of "Western"? Those from the geographical west, or that from the "Wild West"? If these are the latter, then it might have been so conceived - they say, we have nothing to do with it! We are the stronghold of democracy, and you are raising such vile suspicions on us!

- It's all him, the EU!

Then the picture with the punched bullets, the EU flag brought from the Eastern Front of Ukraine, fits into the propaganda essence. Cui prodest (who benefits from this?) - as they said in the ancient Roman EU - let them think about the current EU ...

However, there may also be a double bottom. The more often Pyotr Alekseevich will wave the flag of the EU, the faster all parties to the conflict will get used to it. And then, according to some politicians, on tanks tearing toward Donetsk, the EU flag, as the alleged flag of peacekeepers, will no longer look like a curiosity? After all, Mr. Poroshenko offers to give peacekeepers the right to disarm “illegal armed groups”. And who will disarm Belarusians with Kazakhs, or Brazilians? Only EU members, of course! Here, Sweden, for example, has experience disarming the local population of eastern Ukraine. True, it was a long time ago, and the memories are not very good ... And from the point of view of the EU, the LDNR militia is an illegal armed group. Libyan and Syrian rebels are legitimate, Kosovo are legitimate, the Taliban, Chechen armed groups are legitimate. But “pro-Russian separatists from Donetsk mines” are never legal! And if anyone doubts this, then PACE will quickly indicate who is right in these matters and who is not! So Petr Alekseevich says Ukraine is Europe! So, as PACE decides, it will be so ...
