Why Ukraine will not survive without Russia

Despite regular anti-Russian statements and actions by the Kiev regime, Ukraine remains strong economic dependence on Russia. In this, based on history, there is nothing surprising - the territory of modern Ukraine for centuries has represented a single with Russia political, economic and cultural space.

Currently, the export of Russian goods to Ukraine is estimated at 7,2 billion dollars. This is 140% more than in 2016. That is, relations between countries have not only not been interrupted, but are also developing. The volume of imports of Ukrainian goods to Russia grew by 110%.

It is noteworthy that as a result of the anti-Russian sanctions that the EU imposed against Russia allegedly in defense of Ukrainian interests, in reality Kiev lost at least half of its GDP. This was recognized even in the Verkhovna Rada. Therefore, the only reasonable way for Ukraine may be to abandon anti-Russian rhetoric and move to constructive cooperation.

But under the current government of the country, as we are well aware, this is impossible. A complete change of coordinates is needed, a rejection of nationalist politics — and only if these conditions are met, relations between countries can normalize not only economically, but also politically.
