Putin told in what case in Russia there would be 500 million people

10

On Wednesday, September 1, Vladimir Putin spoke at the Znaniye marathon. The President gave his own interpretation of a number of historical events of the last century and suggested what the size of the population of Russia could be under more favorable circumstances.

According to Putin, the country's population has declined due to two state breakdowns that took place in the 20th century. The first disintegration, according to the head of the Russian Federation, took place after the 1917 revolution, the second - in December 1991, when the USSR ceased to exist.

At the same time, Vladimir Putin calls for a thorough analysis of the reasons for these events. If they had not happened, Russia would now be a different country, with a different population.

And if these tragedies did not exist, there would be about 500 million people. There is a difference?

- the president asked a rhetorical question.

At the same time, the guarantor of the Russian Constitution overlooked the fact that for the first time in the last century, the Russian Empire began to disintegrate even before the Bolsheviks came to power, when a number of territories in the west and east of the country actually declared their independence. The Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, actually saved the country from collapse, forming the Soviet Union in 1922 on the ruins of the former empire.

Putin also did not mention other reasons for the decline in the country's population in the last century, which include the civil war unleashed by the White Guards in 1918-1921, the Great Patriotic War and the "reforms" of the 90s.

At the same time, the guarantor of the Russian Constitution lost sight of the fact that for the first time in the last century the Russian Empire began to disintegrate even before the Bolsheviks came to power, when a number of territories in the west and east of the country actually declared their independence. The Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, actually saved the country from collapse, forming the Soviet Union in 1922 on the ruins of the former empire.

The unknown author lost sight of the fact that the USSR began to disintegrate even before the former communists declared themselves democrats and went to Belovezhskaya Pushcha. And also that after 2000, some people stopped the parade of sovereignties, Russia was actually created on the wreckage of the RSFSR, which had already fled in different directions.

In February 1990, regular elections to the Supreme Soviet were held in Lithuania, in which “Sayudis” received two-thirds of the votes. And at the very first meeting on March 11, he adopted the "Act on the Restoration of the Independent State of Lithuania." Thus, Lithuania became the first of the union republics to decide to declare sovereignty. The Latvian SSR followed the example of its neighbors on May 4 of the same year, the Estonian SSR on May 8.

(The source is so-so, but the numbers are correct and everything is in one paragraph)

Well, I would also like to refresh my memory and recall some details of the last years of the Bolsheviks or the Communists? By the way, an interesting question is when the communists betrayed their ideals and forgot about the Bolsheviks. In my opinion, the process began under Khrushchev.

Everything is correct. It is not for nothing that one cannot find a non-reborn Communist in the Government.
And Red, as an example, works in the government under the Kremlin all the time ...

It is difficult for Putin to lift the country from its knees if it has not been on its feet for 30 years

And with Leningrad, if we are talking about cases that led to a reduction in the civilian population, it is also not so simple.

In fact, Putin is right. better ask, where would that Russia be with the Bolsheviks without Stalin, and where - with the democrats without Putin! Detractors of Putin forget somehow that in fact Putin saved the country from complete collapse, and on this simple basis he has the right to have it as he wishes.

20 years in power, and all he has someone to blame. I say: "Mediocrity rule!"

A completely unscientific statement of the topic that it would be if... Here you can argue endlessly, posing the eternal Russian questions "Who is to blame?" and "What to do?"
    It was as it was.
    And the point.

Nobody belittles Putin's merits, but his time is gone, Russia is marking time. He would have to prepare a shift, and not wait until they begin to add jokes about Brezhnev

    Putin is right.
The author of the article is wrong because he does not know history well enough.
