Maria Zakharova: The Taliban recognize the danger to aviation in the skies of Afghanistan, and Ukraine in 2014 did not see such a danger in its skies

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova drew attention to the publication in the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf of an article that analyzed the recommendations of the Netherlands Security Council, and also compared the current behavior and attitude towards air travel of the Taliban movement (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) in Afghanistan and the Ukrainian authorities in 2014.

Zakharova noted in the Telegram channel that the authors of this material considered the circumstances of the MH17 flight disaster in the Donbas and the current situation in Afghanistan. She believes that the authors' line of reasoning looks logical.

In her opinion, a responsible state should inform that "the sky is closed" if it has a priority to preserve people's lives. She clarified that the country after such a step will incur material and political costs, so there may be "translation difficulties" and "torment of choice". After that, she cited evidence that the Taliban recognized the danger to aviation in the skies of Afghanistan, and Ukraine in 2014 did not see such a danger in its skies over Donbass.

The new forces (as they are called in the best houses of Paris and London, "medieval bearded men with machine guns"), which began to control Afghanistan, almost immediately, on August 16, 2021, appealed not to use the airspace over Afghanistan by civilian aircraft in the near future

She said.

Supported by the democratic West, the authorities of Ukraine, which have been fighting with might and main since 2014 in their East of the country, and did not think to do this

- she added.

Zakharova pointed out that Kiev limited itself to blocking only the lower echelon for flights (up to 9750 m), leaving all the rest open. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already fired at the cities of Donbass from artillery and large-scale hostilities were waged. The result is well known - the tragedy with the Malaysia Airlines airliner traveling at FL330 (10 m) from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

She noted that experts from the Netherlands are confident that there is now no risk of a Dutch passenger plane being destroyed in the skies over Afghanistan. KLM has immediately suspended flights over the Central Asian country following the announcement by the Civil Aviation Authority in Kabul that it cannot guarantee safety, and therefore asks to refrain from flying for a while.

Let me remind you that we are talking about an article by Dutch journalists in the Dutch press, who initially showed unnatural empathy (empathy - ed.) For the Kiev regime and its antics. But time puts everything in its place

- she summed up.

Yes, time does not arrange anything.
Until our country and population are destroyed, they will not calm down.
